Yom Kippur

Return, O Israel, unto the

L-RD thy G-d; Your sins

have been your downfall!

Take words with you, and

return to the L-RD: Say

unto him: Forgive all our

sins, and receive us

graciously, that we may

offer the fruit of our lips.

YOM KIPPUR

I. CALL TO WORSHIP AND KINDLE THE FESTIVAL LIGHTS

II. KOL NIDRE (Messianic)

Regarding all our improper vows, bonds, resolutions, promises, obligations and oaths to G-d which we have vowed, sworn and bound ourselves from tonight on this Day of Atonement until the next Day of Atonement: May G-d cause all things to work together for our good, even these vows to G-d, as we repent of having made them. By His Mercy they shall be absolved, released, annulled, made void, and of none effect : they shall not be binding nor shall they have any power . Our vows shall not be vows, our bonds shall not be bonds, and our oaths not be oaths. Now may I take to heart Yeshua's words, and let my "Yes" be "yes," and my "No," "No."

III. AMIDAH

"O L-rd, open thou my lips, and my mouth shall declare thy praise."

KEDUSHAH, THE SANCTIFICATION OF G-D

Reader: We sanctify your name in the world as they sanctify it in the highest heavens, as it is written by your prophet; "They call to each other and say:

Congregation: Holy, holy, holy is the L-rd of Hosts; all the earth is full of his splendor."

Reader: "Those across from them say:

Congregation: "Praised, praised! be the splendor of the L-rd everywhere it is manifested."

Reader: And in the Holy Writings it is said:

Congregation: "The L-rd shall reign forever; your G-d, O Zion for all generations."

Reader: In every generation we will tell of your greatness, and in every age we will proclaim your holiness. Your praise will certainly never depart from our lips. For you are a great and holy G-d and King. Blessed are you, O L-rd, the Holy G-d!

PRAYER FOR RESTORATION

Congregation: Our G-d and G-d of our fathers, may the remembrance of us, of our fathers, of Messiah the son of David your servant, of Jerusalem your holy city, and of all the people of the house of Israel, ascend, come and be accepted before you for salvation, for good, for grace, for kindness, for mercy, for life and for peace on this day of Yom Kippur.

This day remember us, L-rd our G-d, for good, for blessing; visit us for salvation, and for life. With a word of salvation and mercy spare us and save us, for we look to you, for you are a G-d and King of grace and mercy.

Congregation: Barookh adonai hamvorakh l'olam va'ed.

Leviticus 16:29 - 17:11

And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the L-RD.

It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:

And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.

And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the L-RD commanded Moses.

And the L-RD spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the L-RD hath commanded, saying,

What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the L-RD before the tabernacle of the L-RD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the L-RD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the L-RD.

And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the L-RD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the L-RD.

And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,

And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the L-RD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.

And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

VI. BLOOD OF MESSIAH - Think what Yeshua did!

VII. AL CHET (For the sin...)

What shall we say to you who dwells on high; what shall we relate to you who abides in the heavens? You surely know all the hidden and revealed things. You know the

mysteries of the universe and the hidden secrets of every living being. You search all our innermost thoughts, and probe our mind and heart; nothing is hidden from you, nothing is concealed form your sight. And so, may it be your will, L-rd our G-d and G-d of our fathers, to have mercy on us and forgive us all our sins, for you have granted atonement to us through the blood of our Messiah.

For the sin which we have committed before you under duress or willingly.

And for the sin which we have committed before you by foolish talk.

For the sin which we have committed before you by negligence and carelessness.

And for the sin which we have committed before you knowingly and unknowingly.

And for the sin which we have committed before you by harboring hatred in our hearts.

For the sin which we have committed before you by embezzlement.

And for the sin which we have committed before you by a confused and impure heart.

FOR ALL THESE, G-D OF REDEMPTION, FORGIVE US AND GRANT US REDEMPTION THROUGH THE SACRIFICE OF OUR MESSIAH.

CLOSING MEDITATION

My G-d, guard my lips from evil and my tongue from speaking deceit. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O L-rd, my strength and my redeemer. May it be your will that Jerusalem be solidly established in our days, O L-rd our G-d and G-d of our fathers. May the service of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasing to you.

We offer all our prayers in the Name of Yeshua haMashiach.

X. SCRIPTURE READINGS & PRAYERS OF INTERCESSION

Exo 32:7-14 And the L-RD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

And the L-RD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

And Moses besought the L-RD his G-d, and said, L-RD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.

And the L-RD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

Exo 32:30-32 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the L-RD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.

And Moses returned unto the L-RD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

Deu 9:18 And I fell down before the L-RD, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the L-RD, to provoke him to anger.

Deu 9:25-29 Thus I fell down before the L-RD forty days and forty nights, as I fell down at the first; because the L-RD had said he would destroy you.

I prayed therefore unto the L-RD, and said, O L-rd G-D, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:

Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the L-RD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.

Yet they are thy people and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest out by thy mighty power and by thy stretched out arm.

Isa 64:1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence.

Isa 64:4-12 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O G-d, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Thou meetest him that rejoiceth and worketh righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways: behold, thou art wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.

But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.

But now, O L-RD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Be not wroth very sore, O L-RD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech thee, we are all thy people.

Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O L-RD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

Isa 65:8-9 Thus saith the L-RD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.

Isa 65:17-25 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an

hundred years old shall be accursed.

And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.

They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the L-RD, and their offspring with them.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the L-RD.

Dan 9:4-19 And I prayed unto the L-RD my G-d, and made my confession, and said, O L-rd, the great and dreadful G-d, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:

Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

O L-rd, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

O L-rd, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

To the L-rd our G-d belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Neither have we obeyed the voice of the L-RD our G-d, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of G-d, because we have sinned against him.

And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the L-RD our G-d, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

Therefore hath the L-RD watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the L-RD our G-d is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

And now, O L-rd our G-d, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

O L-rd, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.

Now therefore, O our G-d, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the L-rd's sake.

O my G-d, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

O L-rd, hear; O L-rd, forgive; O L-rd, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my G-d: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Rom 9:1-5 I say the truth in Messiah, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,

That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.

For I could wish that myself were accursed from Messiah for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of G-d, and the promises;

Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Messiah came, who is over all, G-d blessed for ever. Amen.

Rom 11:1-2 I say then, Hath G-d cast away his people? G-d forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

G-d hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to G-d against Israel, saying,

Rom 11:22-36 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of G-d: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for G-d is able to graft them in again.

For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

For the gifts and calling of G-d are without repentance.

For as ye in times past have not believed G-d, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

For G-d hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of G-d! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

For who hath known the mind of the L-rd? or who hath been his counsellor?

Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.

XI. KADDISH

Reader: Let his name be glorified and sanctified throughout the universe which he created according to his purpose. May he bring about the reign of his kingdom in your lifetime, in your days and in the lifetime of all the house of Israel, speedily, soon! And let all say, "Amen."

Congregation: Let his great Name be praised forever and ever, eternally!

Reader: Blessed and praised, glorified and exalted, extolled and honored, magnified and lauded, be the Name of the Holy One, blessed be he; although he is far greater than all blessings, hymns, praises, and songs which are offered in the world; and all say, Amen. May the prayers and supplications of all Israel be accepted by their Father who is in Heaven; and all say, Amen.

May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life for us and for all Israel; and all say, Amen.

May there be abundant peace from heaven, and life for us and for all Israel; and all say, Amen.

May he who makes peace in His high places make peace for us and for all Israel, and all say, Amen.
