The Trinity vs Oneness Schism
(With Over 250 Scriptures from The KJV Holy Bible
which address this Schism.)

Time To FIX The Doctrines That Divide and Give Ground to Religious Demonic Spirits
By Jim Searcy

At the end of this Article is Photos of Evidence The Biblical Doctrine of the Trinity was taught by the Apostles and their direct Disciples in the First, Second, and Third Centuries - Long BEFORE Constantine and the Council of Nicea in the Fourth Century.

The Doctrine of the Trinity is BIBLICAL and part of the Doctrine of the Apostles.

The Trinity-Oneness Schism may be the granddaddy of them all. It is a serious issue in these days of the antichrist war on the saints. Those who have studied the schism do know the truth that it goes all the way back to the time of the apostles. There can be little doubt that this particular schism is one of the reasons why John was moved and inspired by the Holy Ghost to write His Gospel and Epistles the way they are written in the More Sure word.

Why does anyone think that we can do something about a Schism that goes all the way back to the time of the Apostles? IF NOT US THEN WHO? AND IF NOT NOW THEN WHEN?

Those who deny the biblical doctrine of the trinity, or Godhead, or the revealed Unity AND Diversity of the 3 who bear witness in heaven from the beginning - the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, have a strong deceiving religious spirit PRINCIPALITY from which they do need to be delivered. Trinitarians should not consider themselves justified in separating from these oneness brethren. The oneness brethren, may do Jude 19's for scores of reasons, that are right in their own eyes. However, those who know the truth of the Word of God, without the deceiving spirit of modalism or oneness heretical doctrines, are duty bound by love, to give the truth of the more sure word, to these oneness believers.

It must be clear, the people we talk of reaching out to, are the UPC's and Apostolics, and other oneness people who do believe Jesus is God, both Creator and Redeemer. We do not extend fellowship to people like Jehovah Witnesses, Christadelphians, or Mormons, who deny that Jesus is God the Creator as well as redeemer. We will not offer fellowship, and are justified, and even commanded to deny fellowship to such apostates.

2 John 1:7  For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
2 John 1:8  Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
2 John 1:9  Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
2 John 1:10  If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
2 John 1:11  For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Funny how people try to make holy bibles by cutting out those things they do not like or that mess up their theology. Those at Alexandria were famous for that. Cutting holes in our bibles does not a Holy Bible make. Accepting it for what it is - and doing what it says - like it or not - understand it or not - just because God Said So, is the basis of Rock Solid FAITH, that honors God. That is the kind of FAITH wherein His children will see the exceeding greatness of His glorious mighty power manifest. Any other basis of faith, other than God Said So, in the MORE SURE Word which is written, results in vain powerless religion, and deception.

The apostles themselves battled these perverse doctrines. The perverse doctrines did not get specific names until much later. Unitarian or oneness heretical doctrines came finally to be known as the heresy of Sabellianism in the third century. The fact is, that the battle goes back to the days of the Apostles, as John's gospel and Epistles do PROVE.

Between about 220 and 270 AD, a man named Sabellius taught that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit were identical. People who believed the Father and Son were the SAME were called Patripassians (Father-sufferers), because they believed the Father and Son were both on the cross. They would use the 1 John 5:7-8 passage to claim that the Trinity was actually the same Person!

Does the Bible actually say that the Father, The Son, and Holy Ghost are "one," an ABSOLUTE ONE,  OR does the Holy Bible confirm a COMPOUND OR DIVERSE UNITY, of the ONE God, in the 3 who bear witness, Father, Son and Holy Ghost?

That is the crux of the matter. The oneness, Sabellianism, or modalism professors who speak against the biblical doctrine of the trinity, have great allies within the volumes of Jewish scholarship that is extra biblical. Trinitarian doctrine, which is biblical, and historically verified, absolutely affirms that there is only ONE True God. The Father, Yahweh, is not one third of God - He is fully God, just as the Son, Jesus, Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit is each and together fully God.

The Biblical evidence for Monotheism in Trinitarian belief is unquestionable. The Shema finds no problem in BIBLICAL Trinitarian doctrine. Israel's famous confession of the oneness of God, reads in Hebrew: "Shema yisroel adonai elohenu adonai echad" (Deutronomy 6:4).

shama' . yisra'el . yehovah . 'elohiym . 'echad yehovah

Notice the word is ECHAD, not Yachid. Echad is plural one, a Compound unity. Yachid is used when a singular or absolute one is being stated. Moses did NOT make a mistake. The word of God says ECHAD. God is One God beyond our understanding. He has both Unity and Diversity. He is revealed as a compound One God, whose being is manifest in The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. This concept of monotheism of the One True God of Israel, separates Judaism (and Christianity) from any kind of polytheistic religion. It must be stressed that essential monotheism of historical biblical Trinitarian doctrine does NOT imply Unitarianism. When the Bible says God is one, this does not mean that God is an absolute one, or uni-personal, in His being. Such a belief system denies over 3000 witnesses in the Word of God.

The many passages that teach that there is one God, in NO WAY infers a denial of the tri-personality within the Godhead. This would be going beyond and adding to what is written in Scripture. The Bible makes the necessary diversity within the Godhead abundantly clear. Over 2500 times in the old testament, we see plural nouns and pronouns used with the singular verb. God wants us to know that His being must have BOTH unity and diversity within the Godhead. The Bible very clearly indicates the existence of more than one Person in the divine nature.

Some oneness or Jesus-only brethren may already be offended. Many are taught to spiritually knee jerk, recoil, and be in revulsion by the very mention of the word trinity. What about Godhead, is that a biblical word? Yes indeed.

1 John 5:7  For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
John 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.
John 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

There are thousands of witnesses in the Holy Bible that say that the true God is ONE. Yet in order for God to be the God of the Holy Bible that God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, is a compound One, and not an absolute One. Like One Body with 3 members in particular. Like One House with 3 doors. Like One Clover with 3 leaves. Like One Squad with 3 men. This is not an impossible thing to understand.

In fact, with the fullness of the revelation of the God of the Holy Bible, it requires demonic deception to deny the 3 that bear witness, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The One True God, is a Compound ONE, having the revealed, and required, BOTH unity and diversity. This is fully revealed in the Holy Bible, and has demonic deceiving spirits to cause the denial of the 3 persons in the One True God.

There MUST be BOTH unity and diversity in the ONE true God of the Holy Bible. For God is LOVE. That can not be if we do not find the three persons who make up the ONE True God of the Holy Bible, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, 3 bearing witness in heaven from the beginning. The God of the Bible IS LOVE. Let us act in love and not feigned
affection. Let us not separate ourselves from one another, and deny that we have done a Jude 19, for which there is no justification.

Nowhere does the Word of God, or Jesus, ever say that He IS the Father. John 10:30 - I and my Father are one.

Jesus and the Father ARE One - Compound ONE - of 2 or more - to any mind not bound by a deceiving demonic spirit - any normal mind which understands English and not bound by a demon knows what ARE means - more than one.

I encourage any oneness brethren to practice that same forbearance for the sake of unity that many Trinitarian brethren should show to you. You are encouraged to gird up the loins of your mind and prayerfully work through this difficult process of taking back ground given by doctrinal error. That is not easy; however, the first step to victory and freedom is to acknowledge the truth.

One does not acknowledge the truth by thinking one is spiritually superior in one's doctrine, and not having the courage to examine one's doctrines. One must be able to discuss them openly and directly. Yet it is not easy, and this is particularly true for brethren overtaken by oneness doctrine. Press on. If you are right, you will still be right. However, if you are wrong and fail to examine, and be able to acknowledge the truth, you will remain in bondage.

Ignorance may be more comfortable, and some now days, believe in the comfort of their ignorance and deception. Some do seem to believe it to be more spiritual to be ignorant of the Word of God. However, giving ground to deceiving spirits by false doctrines, even if they make you feel good, even if there are signs following, can be deadly in these last days of strong delusion.

Since the time of the Apostles, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has rejected the Gnostic doctrines embraced by modern "oneness" groups. The reason for this is found in the complete Holy Bible, beginning with Genesis all the way through Revelation. The best evidence is found in the Gospel and Epistles of John. The fullness of Scripture rejects and does not support oneness, modalism, or any of the various denials of the biblical doctrine of the trinity, of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The doctrine of the trinity is Biblical, though the specific word trinity is not found in the scripture. There are over 3000 clear witnesses of the scriptures that are denied by those that deny the biblical doctrine of the trinity. The Bible presents much evidence, often rejected or discounted by modalism or oneness groups, that demonstrates the existence of three Persons all sharing the one being that is God.

The Persons of the Godhead are described as personal. The attributes of personhood and personal existence are ascribed to the three. The Bible presents clear distinctions between the Persons, so that it is impossible to confound or confuse the three. The Son, is described as being eternal. The Spirit is described as being eternal, in pre-existence with the Son and the Father. The Bible presents real and eternal relationships between the Persons.

We have put together a listing of the verses that the Holy Ghost inspired John to write in his Gospel and Epistles that affirm and confirm the three, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost who are the three witnesses from the beginning of the biblical doctrine of the trinity. That listing of scriptures from the gospel and epistles of John which affirm the biblical doctrine of the trinity. It is included in this article. Often the modern oneness Gnostics make claims of wanting to stay ONLY with the word of God. Yet few could bear to listen to a straight order of all of the verses just in the gospel and epistles of John which refer to the three persons of the Godhead. The deceiving spirit bondage of the various perverse doctrines that blind the minds of oneness Gnostics, does not allow most of these people to hear the Word of God, which they profess to love and obey.

Acts 5:29-32  Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. We must obey GOD, Peter said to the Sanhedrin, for "we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him."

Does the Apostle mean "obey the Spirit," or "obey GOD," according to the first words of the passage? The distinction is important. The setting of the words can only be rightly understood by the teaching of other parts of Scripture. GOD in Heaven is to be obeyed, through the power of the indwelling Spirit of God.

If you place the Holy Ghost as the object of obedience, rather than God the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit, you are in danger. This is what creates the danger of leading the believer to rely upon, or obey, a "Spirit" in, or around him. This is the ground that deceiving spirits are quick to exploit when the biblical doctrine of the trinity is not clearly taught and affirmed.

That is the danger. We don't obey a spirit in or around us. We obey God on the throne in heaven. The child of God is united to His Son. The Holy Spirit is the way, or the empowerment, or means, through Whom God is worshipped, and obeyed.

The Baptism of the Spirit, brings the Holy Spirit as a Person into the believer's consciousness. This is such a powerful experience, that for a short time, the other Persons of the Trinity, in heaven, may be dimmed. The Holy Spirit becomes the center and object of thought and worship, and is given a place which He Himself does not desire. It is not the purpose of the Father in heaven, that Holy Spirit should have, or occupy such a position in the life of the believer. John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

The Holy Spirit acts as Teacher, and is the only teacher we should fully trust because He is the Spirit of Truth and holiness. The Holy Spirit always confirms, and affirms, and quickens the More Sure Word of God. He cannot deny Himself. John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

He is teaching the words of Another, not His own. He should bear witness to Another, not to Himself.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: He should glorify Another, not Himself. John 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you. He should only speak what was given Him to speak by Another. John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. The entire work of the Holy Spirit would be to lead souls into union with the Son, and knowledge of the Father in heaven. The Holy Spirit directs and works in the background.

There is an opening of the spiritual world, which takes place through the filling of the Spirit. The work of the Spirit, which now occupies the attention of the believer, is just the opportunity for the arch-deceiver. The devil starts perhaps his most dangerous new strategy. If the man is untaught in the Scriptural statements of the work of the Triune God, to "obey the Spirit" is now his supreme purpose.

Counterfeiting the guidance of the Spirit is now the deceiver's scheme. The devil knows he is on the defensive with a Holy Spirit filled believer. The devil knows he must somehow regain power over this servant of God. This child of God is now walking in the power of God. That is a major threat to the entire demonic host. The devil must deceive him to render him useless for aggressive warfare against the forces of darkness. The devil must drive him back into the world. The deceiving spirits must some way side-track him from active service for God.

Ignorance of the believer about (1) the spiritual world now opened to him, (2) the workings of evil powers in that realm, and (3) the conditions upon which God works in and through him, gives the enemy his opportunity. It is the time of greatest peril for every believer,
unless he is instructed and prepared, as the disciples were for three whole years by the Lord.

The danger lies along the line of supernatural "guidance." The danger comes through not knowing the condition of co-operation with the Holy Spirit. The danger is not knowing from the word of God, how to discern the will of God. The danger comes from not knowing, from the word of God, how to test or discern the spirits. This gives counterfeit manifestations, their ability to work as the false angel of light. They are thus able to bring about counterfeit gifts of prophesy, tongues, healings, and other spiritual experiences, connected with the work of the Holy Ghost.

Very few believers can guarantee that they are obeying God, and God only, in direct supernatural guidance. There are so many factors liable to intervene, such as the believer's own mind, own spirit, own will, and the deceptive intrusion of the powers of darkness.

Since evil spirits can counterfeit God as Father, Son, or Holy Spirit, the believer needs also to know very clearly the principles upon which God works. Then he can detect between the Divine and the Satanic workings. There is a "discernment" which is a spiritual gift, enabling the believer to discern "spirits," but this also requires knowledge of "doctrine" 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. We have to discern between doctrine which is of God, and doctrines, or teachings, of teaching spirits.

There is a detecting, by the gift of discerning of spirits, which spirit is at work. There is also a test of spirits, which is doctrinal. The discerning of spirits gift allows a believer to tell by a spirit of discernment, that the lying spirits are at work in a meeting, or in a person. He may not have the understanding needed for testing the "doctrines" set forth by a teacher. He needs knowledge in both cases. He needs knowledge to read his spirit with assurance in the face of all contrary appearances, that the supernatural workings are "of God." He needs knowledge to detect the subtlety of "teachings" bearing certain infallible indications that they emanate from the pit, while appearing to be from God.

In personal obedience to God, the believer can detect whether he is obeying God in some "command," by judging its fruits, and by knowledge of the character of God. God always has a purpose in His commands. God will give no command out of harmony with His character and Word. God can NOT Lie.

The result of the baptism of the Spirit is, that for a time, the heart is filled with love. The spirit is full of light and joy. More often than not if this baptism occurs under the ground given by the gnostic doctrines which deny the biblical doctrine of the trinity, one will find a subtle spirit of pride, or self-importance, and self-aggrandizement. These can come in right along with the other pure fruits of the Spirit, which are undeniably of God.

Honest and earnest believers can be deceived, and even "possessed" by deceiving spirits. The work of deceiving spirits, and their methods of deception, make it clear that close examination is needed of the twentieth century theories, and the twenty-first century of the great falling away from THE Faith, even more so. We have some bad conceptions, and expressions, concerning things in connection with God. Only the truth of God, apart from "views" of truth, will give protection. Truth from the Authorized word of God is what we must have in this warfare. We must have God's truth in the conflict with wicked spirits. Today when one stands for the truth of the MORE SURE word which is written in the KJV Holy Bible, you will quickly find what it means to make the sacrifice of praise. You will also find how few there really are who understand what Jude 19 really means.

Please take the time to go through the rather long list of scriptures from John's gospel and epistles which support the biblical doctrine of the trinity. Next time some oneness professor claims to stand only on the word of God, you will find it interesting how very few oneness professors could stand to hear that list of scriptures which affirm and confirm the biblical doctrine of the trinity.

Many who deny the biblical doctrine of the trinity say they want only the word of God and the word trinity is not in the bible. See if they can bear to hear the following scriptures that testify to the three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. After this list of scriptures, we will explain some of the ways that deceiving spirits are given ground when the biblical doctrine of the trinity is rejected.

You should find this list of scriptures from John's Gospel and Epistles helpful, for people overtaken by various Gnostic oneness doctrines and the deceiving spirits that go with receiving false doctrine.

Rejecting the biblical doctrine of the trinity makes it easy for deceiving spirits to deceive good brethren. When one studies the methods of deception, it becomes clear that we do need a close examination of the twentieth and twenty-first century theories. It is astonishing the things which are considered to be acceptable in the Churches today that are expressly forbidden in the Word of God. We have some bad conceptions, and expressions, concerning things in connection with God. Only the truth of God, apart from "views" of truth, will give protection. Truth from the KJV Holy Bible, is what we must have in this warfare. We must have God's truth in the conflict with wicked spirits in the heavenly sphere.

If it comes from the mind of the "natural man" (1 Cor. 2: 14) it will prove to be but weapons of straw in this great battle. Our thinking can cause us real problems. We must KNOW from the More Sure Word of God, quickened by the Holy Spirit of Truth, and confirmed by other brethren in whom is the Spirit of Truth. We do need each other, and we must not THINK we know, we must KNOW that we know. 1 Cor 8:2  And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. If we rely upon others' "views of truth," or upon our own human conceptions of truth, Satan will use these very things to deceive us. Lucifer may even build us up in these theories and views, so that under cover of them, he may accomplish his purposes. This is what often happens in the ministry of oneness doctrine ministers.

We cannot over-estimate the importance of believers having quick, alert, and open minds. It is time we "examine all things" we have thought, and taught, in connection with the things of God, and the spiritual realm. All the "truths" we have held; all the phrases and expressions we have used in "holiness teachings" should be examined. All the "teachings" we have absorbed through others, should be examined, for any wrong interpretation of truth, any theories and phrases which are man-conceived. When we build upon such things wrongly, it will have dangerous consequences in these last days.

In the "later times" evil spirits will come to us with deceptions in doctrinal form. Believers must examine carefully what we accept as "doctrine." We must be sure it is not from the emissaries of the deceiver. Sounds like a big job with too little time? Here is the answer, read the KJV Holy Bible, on a disciplined basis, from the front cover straight through to the back. Know the REAL doctrine of God the way God has watched over His Word, and in the order He assembled His Word, and purified it seven times in the KJV Holy Bible. You will then find these errors will be handled in the right way - By the Washing of the Word and the Renewing of the Holy Ghost. Not only that, but you will KNOW that you have FAITH based on God Said So. Alleluia - That is the basis of rock solid FAITH that honors God.

The duty of this examination of spiritual things is strongly urged by the Apostle Paul, again and again. "He that is spiritual judgeth (examines, investigates and decides), all things" (1 Cor. 2: 15). The "spiritual" believer is to use his "judgment," which is a renewed faculty if he is a "spiritual man." This spiritual examination, or judging, is in connection with "things of the Spirit of God." 1 Cor 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

God Himself honors the intelligent personality of the man He re-creates in Christ. He invites the "judging" and "examining" of His own workings by His Spirit. Even "the things of the Spirit" are not to be received as of Him, without being examined, and "spiritually discerned" as of God. If someone tries to tell you that supernatural, and abnormal manifestations of the present time are not to be judged and discerned and tested ---- WATCH OUT!!!!

It is always in the will of God, for believers to understand, or explain all the workings of God. Otherwise it is out of accord with the Apostle's statement that, "he that is spiritual, judgeth all things." ALL things especially means supernatural things. We MUST reject all things which our spiritual judgment is unable to accept. We must reject them until such a time as we are able to discern with clearness what are the things of God.

And not only is the believer to discern, or judge the things of the spirit-- that means ALL things in the spiritual realm--but he is also to judge himself. For "if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged."

The Greek word means a thorough investigation -- We should not need the dealing of the Lord, to bring to light the things in ourselves which we have failed to discern by judging ourselves. 1 Cor 11:31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

"Brethren, be not children in understanding, howbeit in malice be ye children, but in UNDERSTANDING BE MEN" (Gr., of full, or mature age, 1 Cor. 14: 20). He explained to them the way of the working of the Spirit among them. The believer is in mind, or understanding, to be of "full age"; that is, able to examine, "bring to the proof" (Gr., to prove, demonstrate, examine, 2 Tim. 4: 2,), and "prove all things" (1 Thess. 5: 21). He is to abound in knowledge, and "all
discernment," so as to "prove the things that are excellent," that he may be "sincere and void of offense" until the day of Christ (Phil. 1: 10 ).

The Word of God tells us that these are perilous times. In these days of strong delusion, every expression, "view," or theory, which we hold concerning supernatural things, should now be examined carefully. We must bring it to the proof, with open and honest desire to know the pure truth of God. Every statement that comes to our knowledge of the experience of others, which may throw light upon our own pathway should be checked. Every criticism, just or unjust, should be humbly received, and examined to discover its ground, apparent or real.

Facts concerning spiritual truths from every section of the Body of Messiah, should be analyzed. Whether we like it or not. Even if it is painful to us personally. We must test it for our equipment in the service of God. For the knowledge of truth is the first essential for warfare with the lying spirits of Satan. Truth must be eagerly sought for, and faced with earnest and sincere desire to know it, and obey it in the light of God. Truth concerning ourselves, discerned by unbiased judgment. We need truth from the Scriptures, uncolored, unstained, unmutilated, undiluted. We need truth in facing facts of experience in all members of the Body of Messiah, and not one section alone.

There is a fundamental principle involved in the freeing power of truth from the deceptions of the devil. Deliverance from believing lies must be by believing truth. Nothing can remove a lie but truth. "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8: 32), is applicable to every aspect of truth, as well as the special truth referred to by the Lord when He spoke those profound words.

In the very first stage of the Christian life the sinner must know the truth of the gospel, if he is to be saved. Christ is the Savior, but He saves through, and not apart from instruments or means. If the believer needs freedom, he must ask the Son of God for it. How does the Son set free? By the Holy Spirit, Who is the Spirit of Truth. We may say freedom is the gift of the Son, by the Holy Spirit working through truth.

We become wide open for demonic spirits to deceive if we deny the biblical doctrine of the trinity. Where is God? That is an important question. Yes, we do know that God is omnipresent by His Spirit; however, let us be a little more specific. Where is God the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ? He is on the throne of the highest majesty in the third heaven. The Lord Jesus Christ is seated there at the right hand of the Father, in that same highest position of authority, FAR ABOVE ALL principalities, powers, thrones and dominions.

We are seated with the Lord Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit in us, IF we are submitted to God, under the right and proper spiritual authority. It is nearly impossible for those who deny the biblical doctrine of the trinity, to avoid the subtle deceptions of spiritual pride, that come with the denial of the biblical doctrine of the trinity. We must know where the Father is, where the Son is, and where the Holy Spirit is. We do the will of God the Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by the Truth and Power of His Holy Spirit.

The great need of all believers is that they should eagerly seek truth for their progressive liberation from all of Satan's lies. For knowledge and truth alone can give victory over Satan as deceiver and liar. If the hearers of truth should resist it, or rebel against it, truth can well be left to the care of the Holy Spirit of Truth. Even in the case of resistance to truth it has at least reached the mind, and at any time, may emerge into experience.

This is why the duty of love requires, even at the risk of the brother doing the Jude 19, we must still proclaim the biblical doctrine of the trinity to our oneness brethren. Trinitarians are no more justified in doing a Jude 19 from their oneness brethren in trouble, than are the oneness brethren. You will find that 90% of the time, the oneness brethren will come up with some off the wall, self-justification for doing their Jude 19 when you do the duty of love, and tell them they have opened themselves up to deceiving spirits from which they should seek deliverance by their denial of the biblical doctrine of the trinity. It is the spiritual pride of the deceiving spirit from their false oneness doctrine that causes the Jude 19. It is the deceiving religious spirit that will cause them to violate any and all biblical principles as they separate. This is why we must have meekness. They do not know, nor do they want to believe, that they have a strong deceiving religious spirit in them, as a result of denial of the biblical doctrine of the trinity.

2 Tim 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2 Tim 2:26  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

In repairing this great historic schism between Trinity-Oneness, as always, the TRUTH, is most important. Also, we better have MEEKNESS - the ability to endure insult without retaliation. When you try to set a brother free from a religious demonic spirit, which has him believing that he is spiritually superior, you will need meekness. They do not know the TRUTH on this issue; but, they THINK they do. For sure they will not be happy about you doing the duty of love to let them know this truth. He does NOT know that he is opposing himself.

Zep 2:3  Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

2 Tim 2:24  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
2 Tim 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
2 Tim 2:26  And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

How does the Son set free? By the Holy Spirit, Who is the Spirit of Truth. We may say freedom is the gift of the Son, by the Holy Spirit working through TRUTH.

There are three stages of apprehending truth :
1. Perception of truth by the understanding.
2. Perception of truth for use, and personal application.
3. Perception of truth for teaching, and passing on to others.

Truth apparently not grasped may STILL remain in the mind, and in the hour of need suddenly emerge into experience.

This is why, even though more often than not, the oneness brother will do a Jude 19, we must give the truth. That is the duty of LOVE, in meekness, and by the leading of the Holy Spirit of Truth. The duty of love requires that we do give the truth. Denying the biblical doctrine of the Trinity does give ground to a strong deceiving religious spirit. To the oneness brother so bound, he does not have a clue. In fact, part of the work of that demonic religious spirit, which was given ground by that oneness perverse doctrine, is to puff them up in spiritual pride. Expect that you will be attacked for giving them this truth. That is why that list of Scriptures from the Gospel and Epistles of John is so handy. Just giving that list of scriptures may be the best, and least likely way of offending, while doing the DUTY of speaking the TRUTH in love. However one way you get to know who the REAL bondservants of the Lord Jesus Christ are, is that it is impossible to offend them. A bondservant will NOT TAKE offense, PERIOD.

Truth may at any later time, by experience, become clear to the mind in which it has been lying dormant. It is only by continual application, and assimilation of truth in experience, that it becomes clarified in the mind, in order to teach others.

The great need of all believers is that they should eagerly seek truth for their progressive liberation from all Satan's lies. For knowledge and truth alone can give victory over Satan as deceiver and liar. If the hearers of truth should resist it, or rebel against it, truth can well be left to the care of the Holy Spirit of Truth. Even in the case of resistance to truth, it has at least reached the mind, and at any time, may emerge into experience.

The sad reality is that this confusion and operation of that strong religious spirit, opens the precious oneness brethren, to many forms of spiritual deception. Demons can make people feel good and spiritually superior. Great outward shows of holiness, with inward corruption and loss of genuine humility before the Lord, and toward their brethren, is the result of the work of that religious demonic spirit.

Understand that your oneness, deceived and bound brethren, THINK they know better than you. They have not a clue how many of the manifestations which they believe to be the work of the Holy Ghost, are actually counterfeit.

When believers first hear of the possibility of counterfeits of God, and Divine things, they almost invariably ask, "How are we to know which is which?" It is enough, first of all, for them to know that such counterfeits are possible. Then, as they mature, or seek light from God, they learn to know for themselves. No human being can explain to them.

But they cry, "We do not know, and how can we know?" They should remain NEUTRAL to all supernatural workings until they do know. There is among many, a wrong anxiety to know, as if knowledge alone would save them. They think that they must be either for, or against certain things, which they cannot decide are either from God, or from the devil. They want to know infallibly which is which, that they may declare their position. Believers can take the attitude of "for" or "against," without knowing, whether the things they are in doubt about, are Divine or Satanic. This is very dangerous. It is wise to maintain the safety of the NEUTRAL position. Stay neutral till you know. In God's time you will know. Stay OPEN, teachable, and neutral, until, by a means which cannot be fully described, you KNOW what you have wanted to understand.

One effect of over-eagerness in desiring knowledge, is a feverish anxiety, and a restless impatience, worry and trouble, which causes a loss of moral balance and power. It is important in seeking one "blessing" not to destroy another. In seeking knowledge of spiritual things, be patient. God knows your need. Trust God to meet your need when He knows you need it. We need calm, quiet, restfulness, and faith. We need to be patient and watch ourselves. We don't want the enemy to gain advantage, and rob us of moral power, while we are crying to get light and truth upon the way to victory over him.

We will deal with some of the counterfeit spiritual manifestations which are accepted as genuine, due to the work of the deceiving religious spirits, in the next part. However, many have already been asking why this is so important, that relationships are risked, to give the truth.

BRETHREN WE ARE NOT MOVING IN LOVE, BUT FEIGNED AFFECTION, IF WE DO NOT GIVE THE TRUTH TO OUR BROTHER WHO IS IN BONDAGE. IT DOES NOT CHANGE OUR DUTY OF LOVE TO GIVE THE TRUTH TO SET FREE, WHETHER THE BROTHER KNOWS HE IS IN BONDAGE OR NOT. IT DOES NOT EFFECT OUR DUTY TO GIVE OUR BROTHER THE TRUTH, WHETHER HE WILL HEAR, OR WHETHER HE WILL FORBEAR.

Here are a couple of good motivational verses if you are having difficulty with this point - Ezek 3:18, Ezek 3:20, and Ezek 33:6. Can you believe that Cain? YES WE ARE OUR BROTHER'S KEEPER.

Now just a couple of reasons why the truth of this perverse Gnostic doctrine, that gives ground for that strong deceiving spirit to come in, is so important. If we are to understand the final conflict between Messiah and Antichrist, we must know the nature of the God Whom Satan opposes. Such a false view of God which Satan has inspired is part of his war on the saints. It will lead many into what Jesus said we would see in this time:
John 16:2-3  They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

Some of you may see how precisely targeted those words of the Lord are for us in this time. Antichrist's claims are built upon a worldview that is pantheistic and polytheistic. If everything is God and there are thus many gods, it then follows that every person is a god whether he realizes it or not. It was on this basis that Satan became convinced that he could be "like the Most High." He still labors under that delusion, however, people of solid biblical FAITH IN Messiah, know Satan is a totally defeated foe. They are now diligently learning WHAT GENUINE SUBMISSION TO GOD REALLY MEANS.

The Antichrist, having apparently "realized" his inner potential, is in a position to help others to achieve their godhood also. Such is the great lie of the Serpent. The religious spirits can easily open people up to join in the antichrist deception. After all, they already think themselves to be spiritually superior. Many have found this, in trying to give them the truth of the biblical doctrine of the trinity.

The biblical doctrine of the trinity is the ONLY logical, and coherent view of God possible. It is also the only opposition to the Antichrist's ecumenical world religion. All other views of God can be accommodated by the Antichrist; but, not the biblical doctrine of the Trinity. Pantheism is really a form of atheism and shares the same fatal flaws. If everything is God, then there is really no God. God over what, or in charge of what, or Creator of what? Of Himself? Pantheism leads to numerous other contradictions. God would be death as well as life, evil as well as good. The very concept of God would be self-contradictory.

The various aberrant oneness "Messianic or Christian" groups claim that God is a single Personage and that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are God's three "titles," or "offices, or "manifestations." Here we have unity without diversity.

That God must have both unity and diversity is clear. The Allah of Islam, or the Jehovah of Jehovah's Witnesses, or the God of aberrant oneness "Messianic or Christian" groups would be incomplete in Himself. He would be unable to LOVE or communicate before creating other beings capable of interacting with Him in these ways.

For God to be just, true, holy, and pure, would not require the existence of other beings in order for those qualities to be expressed. Oneness could fly if that were the God of the Holy Bible. However the One True God of the bible MUST be more than one person. The DIVERSITY of the God of the bible is ABSOLUTE, in order for God to express, let alone, BE LOVE. 1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

From the beginning, before anything was created, God IS LOVE. The REQUIRED ESSENTIAL DIVERSITY of the three who bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, give that clear witness more than 3000 times in the Holy Bible. God IS Love - oneness crashes on that reality, and the absolute NECESSITY of the trinity, or diversity, of the Godhead is so firmly established, only a demonic spirit could blind anyone to that biblical truth, and reality.

Indeed God IS Love. It is not that we love God but that He loved us. On our best day, with the highest anointing, we are unprofitable servants.

Brethren, REDEEMED SINNERS is what we ARE. If, and when, we develop the mindset that repentance is for the other guy, we may have fallen from grace, and not have a clue about it. The strong religious spirit, which is given ground by the perverse doctrines, that deny the biblical doctrine of the trinity, helps set up this strong delusion.
