Days of AWE
How We Shall Endure to the END
In This Antichrist War on the Saints.

The Effect of EVERY Vision is NOW At Hand
DO NOT BE AMONG THOSE WHO MISS GOD'S FINAL CALL
There is really
only ONE biblically REQUIRED fast day. However, the saints scattered abroad are
being tested, and tried, and refined by the fires of tribulation. Many saints
scattered abroad do understand the days
of AWE. The fast of the fifth month, the ninth of Av, is a day of great tragedy
throughout all history, beginning when the men brought back an evil report and
outnumbered Joshua and Caleb's good report. The people of God received an evil
report regarding the Promised Land and all except Joshua and Caleb died in the
wilderness. All who received the evil report on the Ninth of Av, did not enter
the Promised Land, even though being called, chosen, signs and wonders witnesses
of God's manifest power, even baptized people of God, ALL died in the
wilderness.
The Ninth of Ave has many
tragic things happening on that one day in history. The first and second Temples were destroyed and World
War One and its continuation of World War Two started on the Ninth of Av. The
World War Three, long planned by the illuminati Satanists, is set to begin any
day. For a list of the things that happened on this Ninth of Av, fast of the
fifth month, click up this link.

It is never too early to seek God's grace in Repentance, and one can only
be too late in diligently seeking His GRACE, which is only found in Repentance
and Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The 10 days beginning with
Feast of Trumpets and concluding with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement are
called the DAYS of AWE. I do believe the Days of Awe of 2005 marks what will be
seen as the CONTINUING Days of Awe. Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, the 10th
day of the SEVENTH Month, is the only
biblically required fast day. The Jews have a
tradition that begins this season of seeking God's GRACE to be found only in
repentance a month early with the fast of the FIFTH MONTH as Zechariah calls the
Ninth of Av.
We are now in a continuing season of REPENTANCE. The 10 Days of Awe begin with the Feast of Trumpets. This feast
is the call to repentance and celebrates the Day of the Return of the King of
Kings, to tread out the wine press of the wrath of God Almighty and set up His
millennial reign of righteousness where Satan will be bound for 1000 years. The
Feast of Trumpets is the ONLY feast of the Lord which of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Yes, the Feast
of Trumpets is that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which
are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Brethren, we are not to have
this judgment of God Almighty rising up in wrath, overtake us as a thief, as it
will overtake the world. 1 Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that
that day should overtake you as a thief.
The 10 Days of Awe conclude
with the only biblically required fast day, Yom Kippur, or the Day of Atonement.
These 10 days are about the last call, the final call to find the grace and
mercy of God in REPENTANCE. Returning to God, coming into agreement with God, to
be able to receive His mercy, is what the season beginning with the Fast of the
Fifth month and concluding with the Fast of the Seventh Month is all about.
REPENTANCE is CENTRAL to the
Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Any gospel without repentance being central to
the message, is Another Gospel. Such will be cursed Gal 1:8-9.
Who needs to repent? Me and
you need to repent. For whom is it impossible to repent? Me and you, unless we
find the grace of God. No one can repent apart from the grace of God. In Fact,
repentance is the expression of one who truly finds the grace of God. Repentance
is not a one-time deal. Repentance is a way of Life, to one who truly finds the
Way leading to eternal life, to KNOW the One who IS Life.
Do you remember the flood of
the LOVE of God, which came on you when you FIRST found the forgiveness for your
sin, through the grace of God, when you first really understood what God did for
you through the Cross of Christ? Then, "Remember your FIRST Love."
Indeed the True God sets free
from bondage and every false god is a control freak. God will have PERFECT ORDER
in His kingdom, yet that perfect order will be through the freedom to choose His
right and proper way OR the self-will way of destruction. Am I as aware of God's
presence as I once was? Am I more aware of God than I ever was? Do I more expect
God to be kind to me than for me to expect to be kind to God? Is God well
pleased with everything in my life, or do I constantly complain because things
do not seem to be going my way? A person, who has forgotten God's great
expression of love toward him, will not be filled with joy.
It is wonderful to remember
that Jesus Christ has needs which we can meet—"Give Me a drink" (John 4:7). How
much good service, or kindness, or even thoughtfulness have I shown Him in the
past week? Has my life been a good reflection on His reputation? Could God be
saying to His people, "You are not in love with Me now; but, I remember a time
when you were." He told Jeremiah to tell that to His people. In Jeremiah 2:2,
God told Jeremiah to Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the
LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the
love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land
that was not sown.
Will we hear Him? We will IF
we are His people. Am I as filled to overflowing with love for Jesus Christ as I
was in the beginning, when I went out of my way to prove my devotion to Him? Or
do I try to impress the church folk with my knowledge of religious or spiritual
stuff? Does He ever find me considering the time when I cared only for Him? Is
that where I am now, or have I chosen man's wisdom over true love for Him? Am I
so in love with Him that I take no thought for where He might lead me? Or am I
watching to see how much respect I get as I measure how much service I should
give Him?
As I think what God knows and
remembers about me, I may also begin to realize that He is not what He used to
be to me. When this happens, I should allow the shame and humiliation it creates
in my life, because it will bring godly sorrow, and godly sorrow is a good thing
because it produces repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Yes, we do seek that GODLY
sorrow that leads to REPENTANCE. We are not seeking the worldly sorrow that just
gets embarrassed because it gets caught. That worldly sorrow worketh death. When
we are more concerned about what the other church folk think, than what God
thinks, that worldly sorrow works death. When we can rejoice in the love of God,
that He loves us enough to chasten us, that is Godly sorrow, that leads to the
walk of repentance IN The Way that leads to life eternal. Alleluia Yeshua.
The Word or name Yeshua
actually means SALVATION in Hebrew. That, all by itself, is something to think
about. The Bible very clearly teaches us that Salvation is for WHOSOEVER WILL.
We have quite a battle being the born sinners and vain creatures that we are. We
are required to choose to WILL to do the Will of God. Salvation is for
whosoever will. Yeshua showed
us the way. Always He was in FULL and PERFECT submission to the Will of the
Father. Yes, He did really sweat blood in bringing His will into submission to
do the Will of the Father. For it was the Father's will to send Yeshua to be the Propitiation, the payment,
the sin-offering, for the sin of sinners. He, who knew no sin, who knew with
fullness of understanding the HOLINESS of God, would have to be made to be the
sin-offering for us sinners, in order that we MIGHT be saved. Thinking about
that should help us in this season of repentance.
Have we really and fully
surrendered our self-will to do the will of God? Maybe someone really has. If
that be so, then after surrender, then what? Jesus IS THE Way, and Jesus
demonstrated and lived the way. We see in John 17:4 that He said to the Father,
I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. Yes LOVE is an action
word, and a DOING thing. Alleluia Yeshua. Faith works by love.
The submission
to God or surrender of our self-will to DO the will of God is not just surrender
of our life, which the church folk see. The submission to God that causes the
devil to want to flee from us, is more a matter of the thoughts and intents of
our heart. For as a man thinketh so is he. It is the
mind that is the battlefield. It is there where we must get victory for the
flesh to really shape up. We seek this fullness of surrender of our self-will to
DO the will of God.
The greatest crisis we ever
face is the surrender of our will. Yet God never forces a person's will into
surrender, and He never begs. He patiently waits until that person willingly
yields to Him. And once that battle has been fought, it never needs to be fought
again.
Sadly, in today's strong
delusion, people are lulled and dulled to the point that most never come to that
point of crisis in their life. 1 John 5:19 And we know that we are of God, and
the whole world lieth in wickedness. Satan has the
majority so consumed and lulled into such a state of spiritual slumber that most
will never awaken to the crisis at hand until it is too late.
This willful and voluntary
surrender or submission to God is absolutely vital to victory in spiritual
warfare. We must be submitted to God to see the devil flee from before us. It is
the mystery of the Ages, this
positional authority which we do have when we are IN Christ, fully submitted to
the will of God. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, "Come to Me … and I will give you
rest." It is only after we have begun to experience what salvation really means
that we surrender our will to Jesus for rest. Whatever is causing us a sense of
uncertainty is actually a call to our will. Will we come to Yeshua? God insists
that it be a voluntary coming. Satan, the control freak, will seek to use any
means to get control of our will.
We simply must learn
submission to God for victory in this antichrist war on the saints. Jesus said,
in Matt 16:24, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself." We
see that the submission to God is a denial of self-will. The surrender here is
of myself to
Yeshua, with His rest at the
heart of my being. It is NOT inactivity or passivity. Rather it is His
empowerment that brings the rest, even though we are battling the devil more
fiercely, and powerfully than ever before, there is TRUE REST in that battle.
There is heart quietness and peace. Jesus clearly explains to us that if we will
truly be His disciples we must choose to yield and give up our self-will and
self-righteousness, and surrender our self-will to His perfect will. Once this
is done, the remainder of our life will exhibit the evidence of this surrender,
and you never need to be concerned again with what the future may hold. Whatever
our circumstances may be, Jesus is totally sufficient.
2 Cor 12:9 And he said unto
me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in
weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me.
Phil 4:13 I can do all things
through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Phil 4:19 But my God shall
supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Please do NOT
misunderstand this. This next statement is true; but, can be very easily
misunderstood. We are not saved by believing: but, we simply realize we are
saved by believing. Yes, even in this late call to repentance, we must be sure
that we understand, it is not repentance that saves us. Repentance is only the
sign that we realize what God has done through Christ Jesus. If we fail in this
understanding the devil can overwhelm anyone with counterfeit deceiving spirits.
That is the danger of putting the emphasis on the effect, rather than on the
cause.
Is it my obedience, my
dedication, my observance of commandments, and/or my good deeds, that makes me
right with God?
That is a serious question
and if we MISS this understanding, this paradox, you very well may have
religious counterfeit spirits, that one may think is the Holy Spirit, that need
to be cast out. It is NEVER that we are made right with God, by our repentance,
or by or
obedience to His
commandments. We must understand that prior to all of that, Christ died. When we
turn to God, and by belief, accept what God reveals, that miraculous atonement
by the Messiah on the Cross, instantly places us into a right relationship with
God. The evidence we have, of this miracle of God's grace, is a hunger and
thirst after righteousness, AND a hunger to KNOW what God has said, AND a full
determination to do what God has said, just because God said so.
One can not help but wonder,
regarding the genuineness of the faith, of one who claims to have been a
Christian for many years, and yet, IN FACT, has never even read, one time, the
KJV Holy Bible the way one reads any other book. Sadly, the majority of
so-called, and/or used to be Christians, in this great falling away from the
faith, have NEVER read the word of God, the way that God told us to read it.
That means precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, and line
upon line. Yes, straight through, every word IN ORDER from Gen 1:1 to the Amen
of Rev 22:21. How else would one dare to presume to think one may rightly divide
the word of truth? There is not another way without that necessary context.
Things taken out of context become pretexts for anything, and especially
divisions within the Body of Christ.
John 21:18-19 Verily, verily,
I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst
whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy
hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.
This spake
he, signifying by what death
he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow
me.
Do we know what it means to
be girded for death? We need to be careful not to make vows to God at some
emotional high, in which we are out of the self-control fruit of the Spirit.
This is one of the great wiles of the devil, when people do not test the
spirits, and are thereby deceived to believe that the emotional feelings are
spiritual, when they are counterfeit contradictions of the more sure word of God
which is written. True surrender is a matter of being united with Him whose Name
is called the Word of God, having fully determined to be conformed to His image.
Rom 6:5-8 For if we have been
planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness
of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that
the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For
he
that is dead is freed from
sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
So after we make this full
surrender and submission of our self-will, then what? Then our entire life
should be characterized by an eagerness to maintain unbroken fellowship and
oneness with God.
As we seek this unbroken
fellowship and oneness with God, it should be obvious that all of us vain
creatures, who were born sinners, have some changes to make and some things to
renounce. There are acts of our will, which are to be made, to take back any
legal ground given to the devils. 2 Cor 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things
of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God
deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every
man's conscience in the sight of God.
We need to receive and
acknowledge the truth of repenting of those things, which we now want to
renounce. So have we renounced the hidden things of shame? Have we renounced all
of those hidden works that our sense of honor, or pride, and vanity, naturally
want NOT to be confronted with the light of truth? God IS Light, and in Him is
NO Darkness at all. IF, IF, IF, we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. We must come
into agreement with God regarding these things. Agree that we have renounced
them, and seek the help and power of the Blood of Yeshua, and His Holy Spirit to
be free and clean from all those things, that we do not like to think about.
Sadly, most in these days of strong delusion, WILL NOT. Those are the key words,
WILL NOT. Whose will? Do we all see the remaining self-will in that picture? Is
there a thought in our heart, about anyone, that we would not like to be brought
into the light? Then renounce it, as soon as it comes to mind, renounce
everything in its entirety, until there is no hidden dishonesty or craftiness
about us at all.
Envy, jealousy, and strife
does not necessarily arise from our old nature of sin, but from the flesh which
was used for these kinds of things in the past.
Rom 6:19 I speak after the
manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded
your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so NOW
yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
1 Pet 4:1-3 Forasmuch then as
Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same
mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; That he no
longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to
the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought
the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of
wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:
Whose will shall now be
exercised? That is the important question for Salvation is for WHOSOEVER WILL.
Do we understand this reality? We must maintain continual watchfulness so that
nothing arises in our life that would cause shame. Have we renounced the hidden
things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God
deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every
man's conscience in the sight of God. This means not resorting to something
simply to make our own point. This is a terrible trap. We know that God will
allow us to work in only one way, the way of TRUTH. We
therefore want to be careful never to catch people through the other way, the
way of deceit. If we act deceitfully, the fellowship with God that we seek, and
must have, and maintain, becomes impossible. We come under the curse of taking
His Name in vain.
Now what may be craftiness
for us, may not be for others. God has called His children to a higher standard.
Never dull our sense of being mindful of Who He IS, and that He is worthy of our
full best. Glory to God, we can, YES WE CAN, do ALL things through Messiah which
strengthens us. Alleluia Yeshua. We will be better than our best, by His Holy
Spirit, in His Power, and for His glory.
For us, as His children, as
brethren of the King of Kings, doing certain things would mean craftiness coming
into our life for a purpose other than what is the highest and best. We choose
not to do such things because we know that would dull the passionate motivation
that God has given us. Many people have turned back because they are afraid to
look at things from God's perspective. The greatest spiritual crisis comes when
a person has to move a little farther on in his faith than the beliefs he has
already accepted.
The Lord Yeshua MOST
EXPLICITLY taught, that we MUST be born again. Most so-called, and/or "used to
be" Christians, need to be born again, AGAIN. Yes, the bible does teach, cover
to cover, that IF, IF, IF, we will find His grace in REPENTANCE, we can be born
again, AGAIN. The proof of finding the grace of God is Repentance, and REAL
Faith in and of the Lord Jesus Christ. Repentance is the proof, and central to
the TRUE Gospel, and produces FAITH evidenced by obedience. The feasts of the
Lord really are a Calling of the Lord, at the beginning of the year and the
middle of the year, to EXAMINE ourselves and see if we be IN the faith. For
many, that would disclose the need to be born again, AGAIN.
Do we have the evidence of
the New Birth, fresh and current? Jesus said you MUST be born again. Are we
teachers in the family of God, and ask, as Nicodemus questioned, "How can a man
be born when he is old?" Sadly, there are many today, who might also ask, How
can one be born again, AGAIN? The answer is the same to both shocking questions.
Only when he is willing to die to everything in his life, including his rights,
his virtues, and his religion, his observances, his traditions, and becomes
willing to receive into himself, a new life that he has never before experienced
(John 3:3-7). This new life exhibits itself in our CONSCIOUS repentance, and
through our UNCONSCIOUS holiness. Do NOT miss this – CONSCIOUS Repentance and
UNCONSCIOUS Holiness.
John 1:12 But as many as
received HIM, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on his name: ISRAEL, is the name of God's family. Israel is His great
and holy name, with which those who have been born again, have the privilege to
surname themselves. Israel means, born again, to never walk the same.
Is my understanding of Jesus
the result of my own internal spiritual perception and experience, or is it only
what I have learned through listening to others? Is there something in my life
that unites me with the Lord Jesus as my personal Savior? My life IN the Faith
of
Christ must have, as its
underlying foundation, a personal knowledge of Jesus Christ. Yes, Jesus Christ
IS come in the flesh. Glory to God. Allelluia Yeshua.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and
said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he
cannot see the kingdom of God.
Am I seeking only for the
evidence of God's kingdom? Or do I actually recognize His absolute sovereign
control? The new birth gives me a new power of vision by which I begin to
discern God's control. His sovereignty was there all the time, but with God
being true to His nature, I could not see it, until I received His very nature
IN myself.
1 John 3:9-10 Whosoever is
born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot
sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and
the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother.
Am I seeking to stop sinning
or have I actually stopped? To be born of God means that I have His supernatural
power to stop sinning. The Bible never asks, "Should a Christian sin?" The Bible
emphatically states that a Christian must not sin. The work of the new birth is
being effective in us, when we do not commit sin. It is not merely that we have
the power not to sin, but that we have actually stopped sinning. Yet 1 John 3:9
does not mean that we can not sin, rather, it simply means that if we will obey
the life of God in us, that we do NOT have to sin. God's grace and power is
sufficient and yet we do all sometimes frustrate that grace, and thus the need to
realize how important quick repentance with NO rationalizations, self-justification,
or excuses.
John the Baptist understood
and expressed it clearly in Mat 3:11. I indeed baptize you with water unto
repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not
worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
This is profound TRUTH
regarding THE way of THE faith. More like Jesus, and less like the old man who
is now dead to sin, and born again by the Holy Spirit.
There is something that is
puzzling, and even humorous if it were not so sad. There are many who call
themselves Baptists. One would think that the Baptists would be known to follow
after, and do according to John the Baptist's teaching and example. Yet there
are many among them who do not even consider the clear teaching of John the
Baptist to be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
The point of the Baptist's
teaching is simply this: Have we ever come to the point in our life where we can
say, "I indeed must decrease but He must increase"? Until that moment comes, we
will never know what the baptism of the Holy Spirit means. We must come to the
end of our self-will, our religion, our commandment keeping, to the point where
we know, that we can not do anything more. Glory to God, He begins right there.
Alleluia Yeshua. He does the things that no one else can ever do. Are we
prepared for His coming? Jesus will not come and do His work in me, as long as
there is anything blocking the way, whether it is something good or bad. When He
comes to me, am I prepared for Him to drag every wrong thing I have ever done
into the light? That is exactly where He comes. Wherever I know I am unclean,
that is where He will put His feet and stand, and wherever I think I am clean,
is where He will remove His feet and walk away. All self-righteous commandment
keeping, rabbinic stuff, and religious tradition observers, BEST TAKE HEED.
Repentance does not cause a
sense of sin, rather it causes a sense of inexpressible unworthiness. When I
repent, I realize that I am absolutely helpless, and I know that through and
through I am not worthy even to carry His sandals. Have I repented like that, or
do I have a lingering thought of
possibly trying to defend my actions? The reason God cannot come into my life is
that I am not at the point of complete repentance.
When John the Baptist spoke
of Yeshua baptizing us with the Holy Spirit and fire, John is not speaking of
the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience. Rather it is the work performed
by Jesus Christ. Yeshua will baptize you. The only GENUINE experience that those who are baptized with
the Holy Spirit are ever conscious of, is the experience of sensing their
absolute unworthiness. I was a born sinner and a proven mess; BUT, then He came
and something miraculous happened. We MUST get to the end of ourselves, where we
can do nothing; but, where He does everything. Alleluia Yeshua. That does not
mean being inactive, and certainly NOT passive, that means being EMPOWERED.
Glory to God.
Is God's Will
My Will? That is a very important question; because, salvation is for whosoever
will. On some things, the will of God is ABSOLUTELY EXPLICIT. 1 Th 4:3 For this
is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from
fornication:
Sanctification is not a
question of whether God is willing to sanctify us; rather it is about SELF-WILL.
Are we willing to let God do in us everything that has been made possible
through the ATONEMENT of the Cross of Christ? Am I willing to let Jesus become
sanctification to me, and to let His life be exhibited in my human flesh?
1 Cor 1:30-31 But of him are
ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and
sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that
glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
We should NOT be saying that
we are longing to be sanctified. NO. We should recognize our need; but, stop
longing and make it a matter of ACTION, a matter of DOING the will of God.
Receive Jesus Christ to become sanctification for you by absolute, unwavering,
rock solid faith, based upon the integrity of the Word of God. Witness the great
miracle of the ATONEMENT of Jesus then become real IN you.
All that Jesus made possible
becomes ours through the free and loving gift of God on the basis of what Christ
accomplished on the cross. Our attitude, as a redeemed, repentant, and
sanctified SINNER, is that of profound, humble, holiness. It is a holiness based
on agonizing repentance, a sense of inexpressible shame and degradation. Yet it
is also the amazing realization about the love of God. God demonstrated His love
to us while we cared nothing about Him.
Rom 5:8 But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
He did it ALL. He said it is
FINISHED. He completed everything for our salvation and sanctification. There is
no wonder about what Paul said in Rom 8:38-39. For I am persuaded, that neither
death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able
to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. The only
thing NOT found in that most comprehensive list, is SELF-WILL. Indeed salvation
is for WHOSOEVER WILL.
Sanctification makes us ONE
with Jesus Christ, and that is what the ONLY biblically REQUIRED fast day is all
about. Coming to be AT ONE MENT with God. Glory to God. The mystery of the ages,
IN Him, by His Spirit, we are at one with God. It is accomplished ONLY through
the magnificent ATONEMENT of Messiah Yeshua. It is so sad today, and we do
mourn, as we see people with a zeal for God; but, not according to knowledge.
The religious spirits in them confuse the effect with the cause. They think
their commandment observance makes them righteous. They have the cart before the
horse and it does NOT work that way.
Before God, and compared to
the ATONEMENT of His Son, all of our works of righteousness are filthy rags. For
sure, the EFFECT in the redeemed, repentant, and sanctified sinner is obedience,
service, prayer, and worship in spirit and truth. But that is NOT the cause of
our righteousness. Our works of righteousness MUST be the effect of what has
caused us to BE righteous in TRUTH, IN Messiah, 100% by His Sacrifice, His
Obedience, His ATONEMENT. Yet, religious spirit bound people do NOT like that.
Yet, they must be told there is NO other way.
The works that flow from
understanding the cross is the outcome of inexpressible thanks and adoration for
the miraculous sanctification that has been brought about in us because of the
ATONEMENT through the Cross of Messiah.
It should be obvious why the
Christians should be so MUCH more highly motivated to celebrate the Day of
ATONEMENT, Yom Kippur, (Day of Covering), than any Jew who does NOT know
Messiah.
Rom 5:10-11 For if, when we
were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more,
being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also
joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the
atonement. AT ONE MENT. Jesus said, I and the Father ARE ONE. Jesus NEVER said
He is the Father. He said, I AND the Father ARE One. Jesus always was, is, and
will always be ONE With the Father. And through His ATONEMENT, we may also be
one with the Father, ONLY through the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 17:14-23 I have given
them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world,
even as I am not of the world. I pray NOT that thou shouldest take them out of
the world, but that thou shouldest KEEP them from the evil. They are not of the
world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word
is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them
into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they
also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but
for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be
one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:
that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou
gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as WE are one: I in
them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world
may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
We are not saved by
believing, rather we just know we are saved by believing. Repentance is not what
saves us. Repentance is the sign that we realize what God has done through
Christ Jesus. The devil will do anything, any form of religious observance, any
form of demonic counterfeit religious
spirit deception, to get people to put the cart before the horse on this issue.
The danger here is that danger of NOT being saved, and being religiously
deceived. That is the grave danger of putting the emphasis on the effect,
instead of on the cause. The sacrifice and
righteousness of our Savior is what effects the righteousness and observance of
His commandments in our lives.
It is NOT by our obedience,
or by our dedication that makes anyone right with God? THAT IS NEVER THE WAY –
YESHUA is the Way. The only way anyone can be made right with God is because of
the ATONEMENT of Messiah, BEFORE all of that. When we turn to God, and by faith
receive what God reveals, the miraculous ATONEMENT by the Cross of Christ,
instantly places us into a right relationship with God.
Because of this great miracle
of God's grace, we stand justified. Justified, just as if I'd never sinned.
Justified not because we are sorry for our sin, not because we have repented,
but ONLY because of what Jesus has done to pay the price that we CAN NOT pay.
The Blood of Yeshua, the Blood of the Lamb of God, is the ONLY Propitiation, the
ONLY acceptable payment of the debt of sin, the ONLY means to have TRUE
righteousness from the Holy God.
We all know the INRI title,
which was put upon the Cross of Messiah. It is the short form of His charge, for
which the Romans crucified Him. Iesous Nazereth Rex Ioudaios, Jesus of Nazareth
King of the Jews. A brother recently told me that in Latin, INRI means PAID.
Yes, God Himself, PAID the
price to satisfy the offense of our sin to His holiness. He did not do that to
give us a license to sin. We should understand how exceeding sinful that sin
really is when we understand what we should, in understanding the Cross.
The Spirit of God brings
justification with a shattering, glorious truth, based upon God's integrity, and
the facts of history. Then we do know that we are saved, even though we do not
know in fullness, how it was accomplished. But the Spirit bears witness with our
spirit, that we are the children of God. That is what the AT ONE MENT is about.
The salvation that comes from
God is not based on human logic, but is by NO means illogical. The salvation,
the Yeshua, that comes from God, is ONLY, and MUST be based ONLY, on the
sacrificial death of Jesus. We can be born again only because of the ATONEMENT
of our Lord. Sinful men and women can be changed into new creations, not through
their repentance, or their belief, but through the wonderful work of God in
Christ Jesus. The Messiah's ATONEMENT came before all of our sins, before our
repentance, before our observance of His commandments.
2 Cor 5:17-19 Therefore if
any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold,
all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to
himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To
wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of
reconciliation.
Eternal security? Indeed, we
have that. We have genuine real security, which is not the demonic once saved
always saved, false doctrine. We have eternal security knowing that God has made
ATONEMENT. Knowing that it would only be by my willful rejection of
Him, that could possibly
separate me from the love of God. Sadly many will make that willful rejection,
in these last days, as they receive the 666 bio-chip in their right hand or
forehead. Receiving the pre-trib lala land false doctrine and OSAS false
doctrine has them set up to make that rejection of so great salvation by
receiving that 666 mark in their right hand or forehead.
Eternal security, yes, in
biblical fact, we have it, and not in false doctrine, but in fact, KNOWING that
He has made the ATONEMENT. We do have eternal security knowing that if God be
for us who can be against us. The certainty of justification and sanctification
is God Himself. We do not have to accomplish these things ourselves, they have
been accomplished, past tense, through the ATONEMENT of the Cross of Messiah.
The supernatural becomes natural to us through the miracle of God, and there is
the realization of what Yeshua Messiah has already done. Jesus said, IT IS
FINISHED: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
"It is Finished!" Glory to
God. The battle is over. Satan and the host of hell is a defeated foe. It is
finished. They may chop our head off but we will not RECEIVE their mark and we
will NOT die. Jesus also said, in praying to the Father in the agony in the
garden, I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. (John 17:4).
The death of Jesus Christ is
the fulfillment in historical fact and reality, of the very mind and intent of
God. There is no place for seeing Jesus Christ as a martyr. His death was not
something that happened to Him, or something that might have been prevented. His
death was the very reason He came.
Never build your case for
forgiveness on the idea that God is our Father and He will forgive us because He
loves us. That contradicts the revealed truth of God in Jesus Christ. It makes
the Cross unnecessary, and the redemption, and the ATONEMENT, "much ado about
nothing." AND THAT CAN OPEN ONE UP TO ALL SORTS OF DEMONIC COUNTERFEIT RELIGIOUS
SPIRITS. God forgives sin ONLY because of the death, the ATONEMENT of Messiah.
God could forgive people in no other way, than by the death of His Son. For the
wages of sin is death. Yet NOW Jesus is exalted as Savior because of His death.
This is expressed so clearly in Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little
lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour;
that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. May it please God,
that after we celebrate these Days of Awe, and this Day of Atonement, that we
now and forever understand, why the preaching of the cross is to them that
PERISH foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Yes, we see Jesus. He is our
ATONEMENT and NOT any other way or observance of any commandment or work of our
righteousness. He only, by His ATONEMENT IS our righteousness.
The greatest note of triumph
ever sounded to the hearing of a startled universe, host of hell, and sinners,
was that sounded on the Cross of Christ, "IT IS FINISHED" (John 19:30). For this
purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the
devil, IT IS FINISHED. Alleluia Yeshua! That is the FINAL word in the redemption
of humankind. THE ATONEMENT OF THE LAMB OF GOD. IT IS FINISHED - GOD DID PROVIDE
HIMSELF, A LAMB. GLORY TO GOD. ALLELUIA YESHUA!
Anything that lessens or
completely obliterates the holiness of God, through a false view of His love,
contradicts the truth of God as revealed by Jesus Christ. Never allow yourself
to believe that Jesus Christ stands with us, and against God, out of pity and
compassion,
or that He became a curse for
us out of sympathy for us. Jesus Christ became a curse for us by divine decree.
Our part in realizing the tremendous meaning of His curse is the conviction of
sin. Conviction is given to us as a gift of shame and repentance; it is the
great mercy of God. Jesus Christ
hates the sin in people, and Calvary is the measure of His hatred of sin.
Heb 10:14 For by one offering
he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
We trample the blood of the
Son of God underfoot if we think we are forgiven because we are sorry for our
sins. The only reason for the forgiveness of our sins by God, and the infinite
depth of His promise to forget them, is the death of Jesus Christ. Our
repentance is
merely the result of our
personal realization of the ATONEMENT by the Cross of Messiah, which He has
provided for us.
1 Cor 1:30 But of him are ye
in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and
sanctification, and redemption:
Once we realize that THE
Messiah, Yeshua, The Lord Jesus Christ, has become all this for us, there is joy
and cause to rejoice unto God forevermore. His joy abides in us. And wherever
the joy of God is not present, the death sentence is still in effect. No matter
who or what we are, God restores us to right standing with Himself only by means
of the death of Jesus Christ. God does this, not because Jesus pleads with Him
to do so; but, rather, because He died. It cannot be earned, just accepted. All
the pleading for salvation which deliberately ignores the Cross of Christ is
useless. It is knocking at a door other than the one which Jesus has already
opened. The religious spirit in man will protest saying, "But I don't want to
come that way. It is too humiliating to be received as a SINNER." God's
response, as Peter gave us in Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other:
for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be
saved. What at first appears to be heartlessness on God's part is actually the
true expression of His heart. There is unlimited and even bold entrance His way.
Heb 10:19 & Eph 1:7 express
this so clearly. Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest
by the blood of Jesus, In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; To identify with the
death of Jesus Christ means that we must die to everything that was never a part
of Him. God is just in saving bad people. He makes them good. Our Lord does not
pretend we are all right when we are all wrong. The ATONEMENT by the Cross of
Messiah, is the propitiation God uses to make unholy people holy.
2 Cor 7:10 For godly sorrow
worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the
world worketh death. Conviction of sin is one of the most uncommon things that
ever happens to a human being. It is the beginning of an understanding of God.
Jesus Christ said that when the
Holy Spirit came He would convict people of sin. When the Holy Spirit stirs ones
conscience and brings one into the presence of God, it is not our relationship
with others that bothers us; but, rather it is our relationship with God. David
had it RIGHT in Psalm 51, and right for this season of repentance leading to the
Day of ATONEMENT. David said in Psa 51:4, Against thee, thee only, have I
sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when
thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
The conviction of sin is
awesome. Because, apart from the work of the Holy Spirit, whose FIRST work is
convicting of sin, conviction is unnatural and repentance is impossible for any
human being. Without the awesome work of the Spirit of Messiah, conviction of
sin, forgiveness, and holiness are NOT going to happen. Without the awesome work
of the Spirit of Messiah, all there is, in reality, is just religious spirit
deception and hypocrisy. It is only the forgiven person who is truly holy. He
proves he is forgiven by being the opposite of what he was previously, by the
grace of God. That is what repentance is, a 180 degree turning from the wrong
way of self-justification and self-righteousness, to find God's grace and His
TRUE righteousness and holiness. Repentance always brings a person to the point
of saying, "I have sinned." The surest sign that God is at work in our life is
when we say that and we mean it. Anything less is simply sorrow for having made
foolish mistakes, a reflex action caused by self-disgust, the worldly sorrow
that worketh death.
The entrance into the kingdom
of God is through the sharp, sudden pains of repentance smashing head-on into
our respectable goodness. Then the Holy Spirit, who produces these struggles,
begins the formation of the Son of God in our life. It is what Paul was telling
the Galatians in Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again
until Christ be formed in you, This new life will reveal itself in CONSCIOUS
repentance followed by UNCONSCIOUS holiness. It can NOT be, and never is, the
other way around, no matter what any rabbi may say. The foundation of THE TRUE
FAITH is repentance. It is impossible for any person to repent when he chooses,
it really can only happen by the grace of God. In fact, the whole bible and New
Testament, in particular, affirms that repentance is and can only be the gift of
God. If we ever stop seeing our need for repentance we are in sin. If we ever
fail to understand the value of repentance, we allow ourselves to remain in sin.
Examine yourself to see if you have forgotten how to be truly repentant.
In these Days of Awe leading
to the Day of AT-ONE-MENT, let us all do as Paul suggested in 2 Cor 13:5 Examine
yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your
own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
We are not saved by
believing, but we simply realize we are saved by believing. Yes, even in this
late call to repentance, we must be sure that we understand, it is not
repentance that saves us. Repentance is only the sign that we realize what God
has done through Christ Jesus.
