VIII.
DIES DOMINI.
Until recently, the catholic church's change of God's seventh day sabbath to the catholic Sunday sabbath was represented to have been based solely upon tradition and the authority the catholic church says it possesses. That appears to no longer be the case. We have already made a number of references to pope John Paul II's 1998 Apostolic Letter Dies Domini,(48), wherein the pope attempts to justify the catholic sabbath position by scripture. Appendix B sets forth additional paragraphs of Dies Domini not otherwise discussed within the main text of this paper. The reader is encouraged to study the entire Dies Domini because it may be man's best attempt to justify breaking God's sabbath, and it fails miserably. In fairness, no one, not even the pope, can defend changing observance of God's seventh day sabbath to Sunday. Why? Because the change is contrary to the Word of God and the Word of God is truth.
A careful reading of Dies Domini proves there to be no scriptural basis whatsoever for the catholic and protestant position regarding the sabbath. Point in fact, the position espoused by the pope is wholly inconsistent with itself. One cannot recognize that all Ten Commandments remain binding upon man, while on the other hand, state that Sunday fulfills God's sabbath commandment. Pay close attention to the pope's use of the scripture. A lesson to be learned is that no one should ever trust someone else's interpretation of scripture, not this author's interpretation and not the pope's interpretation. If you have the anointing, you do not need any man to teach you. See 1 Jn. 2:27. You must read and study all scripture for yourself in prayerful consideration. If you have the anointing, you will be given understanding of the truth.
In addition to the pope's "Sunday theology" within Dies Domini, the letter contains blasphemous statements made against God's holy seventh day. As you read the following paragraphs, remember that God is the One that made His seventh day holy. And God is the One that commanded man to keep the day holy. There is not one scripture within the entire Bible that tells us that God made any other day of the week holy. In Dies Domini, the pope states:
"2. . . . It is right, therefore, to claim, in the words of a fourth century homily, that 'the Lord's Day' is 'the lord of days'. . . ." Dies Domini, p. 2 of 39, see endnote 16.
"7. The duty to keep Sunday holy, especially by sharing in the Eucharist and by relaxing in a spirit of Christian joy and fraternity, is easily understood if we consider the many different aspects of this day upon which the present Letter will focus our attention...." Dies Domini, p. 3 of 39, see endnote 16, (emphasis added).
"14. In the first place, therefore, Sunday is the day of rest because it is the day 'blessed' by God and 'made holy' by him, set apart from the other days to be, among all of them, 'the Lord's Day'. . . ." Dies Domini, p. 6 of 39, see endnote 16 (emphasis added).
"25. In effect, Sunday is the day above all other days which summons Christians to remember the salvation which was given to them in baptism and which has made them new in Christ. . . ."Dies Domini, p. 10 of 39, see endnote 16, (emphasis added).
"29. Given these different dimensions which set it apart, Sunday appears as the supreme day of faith. . . ." Dies Domini, p. 11 of 39, see endnote 16, (emphasis added).
"55. 'Blessed be he who has raised the great day of Sunday above all other days. The heavens and the earth, angels and of men give themselves over to joy'. . ." Dies Domini, p. 21 of 39, see endnote 16, (emphasis added).
The pope acknowledges that man replaced God's seventh day sabbath with Sunday, tells us that we have a duty to keep Sunday (not Saturday) holy, states that God blessed Sunday and made it holy, states that Sunday is above all days, calls Sunday the supreme day of faith, and states a person to be blessed for raising Sunday above all other days. Each of these statements are blasphemous against God's holy day, His seventh day. And to the extent that protestant doctrine agrees with any of these statements made by the pope, they participate in the blasphemes as well. If a person truthfully relies on scripture as their sole source of belief and doctrine, you will know that these statements by the pope are false. Jesus specifically warns us not to follow the traditions and commandments of men. The pope might call Sunday holy, but scripture does not. Both positions can not be right. My Bible says that God sanctified only one day, the seventh day. God commands us to keep His seventh day sabbath holy. Substituting another day and calling it holy in no way fulfills God's Fourth Commandment and the everlasting sabbath covenant man made to God.
God does not tolerate the pollution of His holy sabbath day, and it is difficult to imagine a more egregious pollution of God's holy sabbath than man's substitution of a different day and calling it holy. God has tried to give us the gift of His holy seventh day sabbath, just as He tried to give to the children of Israel His promised land. See Num. 13:1 - 14:35.
God denied the promised land to the Israelites in His wrath. God wanted to smite them all dead, and but for Moses, He would have done so. God told them that all but two over the age of twenty would perish in the wilderness and never set foot in the promised land. Joshua and Caleb were the only ones over the age of twenty that were allowed into the promised land. Why? Because they listened to the Word of God. Joshua and Caleb believed the Word of God. They had faith that the Word of God was true. And they did as God said. Why did God deny the promised land to all others over the age of twenty?
"[23] Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them. [24] Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word: [25] But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord". Ps. 106:23-25 (emphasis added).
God denied the promised land to the children of Israel for 40 years until all but two of the rebellious generation died in the wilderness. Psalm 95:7-11. The children of Israel rejected God's gift of the promised land, saying that they would have been better off dead in Egypt. Num. 13:2; 14:11-12, 19-35.
Do you think our rejection of God's seventh day sabbath rest is any different than the Israelites rejection of His gift of the promised land? In Ezekial chapter 20, Verse 12, God says:
"[12] Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them". Ezek. 20:12.
God gave us His sabbaths. His seventh day sabbath that He made holy when He finished His creation. It was His to give man, just as the promised land was His to give to the children of Israel. And in His Fourth Commandment, He tells us to "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy". Ex. 20:8. He does not tell us to substitute another day and keep that one holy. He commands us to keep His seventh day holy. Centuries ago, we began the tradition of rejecting God's sabbath gift to man. Far worse than the rejection of the promised land by the Israelites, man has replaced God's holy seventh day with a different day, Sunday, which the pope calls "holy" in Dies Domini. The pope even says that God Himself made the first day, Sunday, holy. Where is the scripture to support that assertion? Nowhere. It does not exist. The only day that God has ever made holy is His seventh day. And it is that same seventh day that man promised to keep as a perpetual covenant to God, and which will forever be our sign to God. What is Sunday a sign of? Rebellion against God? Allegiance to the pope instead of God?
God wanted to strike the children of Israel dead for rejecting His promised land. What do you think God will do to us for rejecting His holy seventh day? Would you dare tell God that man knows better than He? Man has no right to disregard God's holy day and replace it with one of our own choosing. Not only have we blasphemed and polluted God's holy sabbath day, but we have broken His commandment and breached the everlasting sabbath covenant we made to Him. And as if that were not bad enough, our religious leaders have been teaching christians for 17 centuries to break God's Fourth Commandment. "Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye". Mk. 7:13. See Section VII.E.3.b.i., "Beware the traditions of men".
IX
WHY NOW?
The "Lord's Day" tradition of man can be traced back nearly1,700 years to the pagan sun god day of worship in the Roman Empire. All of man will bear responsibility for this pollution of God's holy seventh day sabbath. If you have read this paper to this point, you have read the truth about the sabbath as stated by the Word of God. Do you believe the truth?
"He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God". Jn. 8:47.
Can you see that the Word of God unambiguously requires our keeping of the seventh day sabbath? If you can't, you are blinded. Whether or not man thinks the sabbath day is important matters not. The seventh day sabbath is important to God. Man cannot continue to keep his eyes closed to the importance God places on the His sabbath. By failing to keep the sabbath,we are (1) ignoring a commandment of God; (2) breaching our everlasting covenant to God; and (3) ignoring the only sign requested by God to show Him that we know Him to be our God.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-16.
Open your eyes and ears. This passage is very important in these last days:
"[1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him. [2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. [3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, theson of perdition; [4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? [6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. [7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. [8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
[13] But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: [14] Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. [15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. [16] Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work". 2 Thes. 2:1-17.
Let us review this passage from the second epistle to the Thessalonians in detail. Notice verse 3 warns us not to let any man deceive us. Are we not witnesses to the great deception of keeping the first day, the "Lord's Day", in place of keeping the seventh day sabbath as commanded by God? The deception is now revealed by the Word of God. Will anyone care? Or will this rebellious generation continue to reject the scripture telling the truth about God's seventh day sabbath?
Remember, the sabbath is a sign forever that we know God is our God and that God is the one that sanctifies us. Throughout the Old Testament there are many lessons regarding the consequences arising from disobedience against God. Look at what God did to Pharaoh and Egypt. Look at the entire history between the children of Israel and God as recorded in the Old Testament. Look at the importance of precisely following God's specific passover instructions to the children of Israel. If you have eyes to see, the Word of God gives believers very specificinstructions for these last days. And Hebrews 4:5 promises that God will speak from heaven again to those that will enter into His sabbath rest.
Verse 3 (2 Thes. 2:3) continues and tells us that the day (of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, verse 1) shall not come until there be a falling away first, and that "man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition" "[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God". The seventh day sabbath is a part of God. God made it, God sanctified it and God made it holy. If someone opposes something made holy by God, that is opposing God. If someone replaces God's holy seventh day sabbath with a Sunday "Lord's Day", and then calls the "Lord's Day" holy, and teaches people to follow the substitution, that person exalts themselves above God. Only God has the power to undo that which God Himself made.
"[6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. [7]For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. [8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:". 2 Thes. 2:6-8.
Will the truth about God's seventh day sabbath be that which has been withholdeth that the man of sin, the son of perdition, might be revealed in his time"? Did God allow the pollution of His sabbath by the gentiles for 17 centuries for the purpose of revealing the Wicked, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth? The "spirit of his mouth" is the Word of God. We know that it is the Word of God that will reveal that Wicked.
Return again to Second Thessalonians,
"[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved". [11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness". 2 Thes. 2:10-12.
We know that it is "righteous" to keep all of God's commandments, "And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us". Dt. 6:25. A person not keeping God's seventh day sabbath fails to "do all these commandments", and is unrighteous by definition of Deuteronomy 6:25. Recall this warning given to us by Jesus,
"[19] Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [20] For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven". Mt. 5:19-20.
Is the "Lord's Day" the "strong delusion" and the lie? It has been blindly believed for 1,700 years. Is God's seventh day sabbath the "truth" and Sunday "Lord's Day" the "unrighteousness" spoken of in verse 12? Paul has told us in 2 Thes. 2:1-17, (1) to let no man deceive us; (2) that a falling away will occur; (3) that man of sin, son of perdition, and that Wicked will be revealed, whom the Word of God shall consume; (4) that those to perish received not the love of the truth, with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them; (5) that God shall send them that perish strong delusion that they should believe a lie; and (6) that all might be damned who believed not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. It is within this context that Paul concludes,
"[15] Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle". 2 Thes. 2:15 (emphasis added).
What was the sabbath tradition of the apostles at and before the time of writing the entire New Testament? It was keeping God's seventh day sabbath, and there is not one verse in the entire New Testament that tells us otherwise. The Sunday tradition of man came later, after the writing of the New Testament.
How could so many have been so blinded for so long? Scripture has not changed regarding God's seventh day sabbath, yet few have recognized the truth about God's sabbath. Why?
"[Thus saith the LORD] I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not". Isa. 66:5.
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: [4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" 2 Cor. 4:3-4.
"He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God". Jn. 8:47.
"[16] I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment". Ezek. 34:16.
"[14] Therefore they [the wicked] say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. [15] What is the Almighty, that we [the wicked] should serve him? and, what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?" Job 21:14-15.
"[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned into fables". 2 Tim. 4:3-4.
And what if your church refuses to recognize and teach keeping the seventh day sabbath as required by the Fourth Commandment of God?
"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities". Rev. 18:4-5.

BLESSINGS
Once you abide in Jesus, you will find joy, peace and love come with obedience to God. It is a wonderful event to put the whole world on hold once a week for 24 hours, and join with God in His sabbath rest. Let us look to some of God's promised blessings:
"And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt-offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity(45) and idolatry". 1 Sam. 15:22.
"Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; [9] And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him". Heb. 5:8-9.
"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him". Acts 5:32.
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city". Rev. 22:14
"But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it". Luke 11:28.
"[22] For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him; . . . [25] There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you". Dt. 11:22, 25.
"Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed". 1 Sam 2:30.
"But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; [18] To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them". Ps. 103:17-18.
"[12] I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. [13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. [14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. [15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you". Jn.16:12-15.
"Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. [2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil". Isa. 56:1-2.
And why have those who knew the truth about God's holy seventh day sabbath (including the Jews) remained silent throughout the years while watching their neighbors break a commandment of God? Should not our love for God demand that we cry out against the pollution of His holy seventh day sabbath? And should not our love for our neighbors demand that we tell them when they are breaking a commandment of God?
"When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand". Ezek. 3:18.
XI
CONCLUSION
Scripture says disobedience of the Fourth Commandment resulted in death. Scripture says that when God came to deliver the Ten Commandments to man, including His Fourth, He made lightning, thunder, smoke, fire, quakes and the sound of trumpets. Scripture said that God wanted the children of Israel to fear Him so they would not sin. Scripture says the wages of sin is death. Scripture says the children of Israel are to observe the sabbath as a perpetual covenant with God for all generations. Scripture says that believers by faith in Christ Jesus are of the seed of Abraham and heirs to the promise as children of Israel. Scripture says that Jesus is the Word of God. Scripture says that Jesus would have told us if He was changing the day of rest. Scripture says remember the sabbath, to keep it holy. Scripture says to beware of the traditions of man. Scripture says to fear God, believe God, and obey God. Scripture says:
"Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying, [11] Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above". Isa.7:10-11.
"[2:1] I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. [2] Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. [3] And behold, the angel that talked with me, went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, [4] And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: [5] For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her". Zech. 2:1-5.
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord". Rom. 8:35-39.
"[2:1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: [2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [3] And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [4] He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [5] But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. [6] He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. [7] Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. [8] Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth. [9] He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. [10] He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occassion of stumbling in him. [11] But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes. [12] I write untoyou, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake. [13] I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning, I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one, I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father. [14] I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. [15] Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. [16] For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. [17] And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
[18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. [19] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. [20] But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. [21] I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because yeknow it, and that no lie is of the truth. [22] Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. [23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. [24] Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. [25] And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life. These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. [27] But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. [28] And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. [29] If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him". 1 Jn 2:1-29.
"Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?" Isa. 66:1.
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy". Ex. 20:8. "For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it". Ex. 20:11.
"[17] Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. [18] I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. [19] Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. [20] At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. [21] He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. [22] Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot,Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? [23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. [24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me. [25] These things have I spoken unto you. [26] But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you". Jn.14:17-26.
"[2:19] Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; [20] And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; [21] In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: [22] In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit".
[1] For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles. [2] If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: [3] How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in a few words, [4] Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) [5] Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is nowrevealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; [6] That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: [7] Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. [8] Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; [9] And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: [10] To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, [11] According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: [12] In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. [13] Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory, [14] For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15] Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, [16] That he would grant you, according the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [18] May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; [19] And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. [20] Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, [21] Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen". Eph. 3:1-21.
"[14] The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant". Ps. 25:14.
"[10] And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? [11] And he answered them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. [12] For whoeverhath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. [13] Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. [14] And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esiais, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: [15] For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. [16] But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. [17] For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them". Mt.13:10-17.
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. [14] For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil". Eccl. 12:13-14.
Let it be known that this has been written with the help of His Son for the glory of our Father in heaven. May you find and continue in the love of Jesus Christ, Son of God, Yeshua Messiah.Praise be to God for ever and ever!
