Proof of the Resurrection

The 10 Days of Awe
High Holy Days
Begins with the Feast of Trumpets 9/29/2011

Actually the Feast of Trumpets is a 2 day feast on the 29th & 30th
because the Feast of Trumpets is the ONLY Feast of The Lord
that NO MAN know the day or hour, no not even the angels.
To this day it remains a 2 day celebration because
no man knows the day or hour of the FEAST of TRUMPETS

In between the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah - 1st day of the 7th month) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) are 10 days, known as the Ten Days of Awe. These days begin with the blowing of the Shofar, the Feast of Trumpets, and conclude with Yom Kippur. There is an interesting ancient Jewish Tradition that says the sealing angel of Ezekiel chapter 9 and Revelation 7:2-4 and 9:4 is sent out to seal the people of God on Yom Kippur.
(also see John 14:12, Dan 11:32, Rom 8:18-22)

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ -
Adonai Yeshua ha Meshiach.
There is NO other Name.

There are many gods. There is only ONE True God, and NO OTHER Name. Any real true Christian knows this. Any real true Christian will publicly acknowledge The Lord Jesus Christ, in ANY and ALL prayer, in which he is asked to participate, even if he is the President. Otherwise he will not participate OR HE IS NOT a real true Christian.
Just another Fako Christian Actor, one of the MANY tares, among the FEW genuine.
Yes, Real True Christianity, is a VERY STRAIGHT & NARROW WAY.

Do we grieve over Him Whom we pierce?

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

The 10 days of AWE are about REPENTANCE.
It is impossible to repent without the grace of God.

THERE IS A REAL AUDIO MESSAGE AND WRITTEN MESSAGE TO HELP WITH UNDERSTANDING REPENTANCE. Today this precious gift of Repentance which is ONLY available by the grace of God seems misunderstood, forgotten, or misapplied. Please be sure to take the time either to listen to the real audio or written message on UNDERSTANDING REPENTANCE.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Do you know the King of Glory, the Lord of Sabbath, is at your door knocking every Friday evening? Can you say AMEN?

At the end of this article, there is going to be some truth, which hopefully will blow away to smithereens, how some people have used the New Testament for Jew hatred and anti-Semitism. Please do not miss the truth about "Feast of the Jews" vs "Feast of the Lord" at the end of this article. Click here to Jump directly to that important Message.

Brethren, the issue is not prayer, it is answered prayer. YHVH will answer prayer according to His WILL 'on earth as it is in heaven'.

HOWEVER IF we regard iniquity in our heart the Lord will not hear us.

We don't even know the extent of our own lawlessness, hence the need for counsel.
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Fire reveals the impurity. You cannot just look at the golden lump and see the impurity within. Gold refined by fire. Genuine faith. In the process of getting genuine faith.... THINGS WILL SURFACE. GARBAGE WILL COME UP. YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AT THE CRUD THAT IS COMING TO THE TOP. HIDDEN SIN. HIDDEN ATTITUDES. HIDDEN LAWLESSNESS.

This year it begins on September 27, 2003. This last year there has been the MOST ABUNDANT rain in Israel and the rabbis have got it right. The Lord has blessed Israel, in spite of all those who have been cursing Israel. IS SUCH ABUNDANT RAIN A CALL THAT ALL SHOULD BE IN ONE ACCORD FORBEARING ONE ANOTHER FOR THE SAKE OF UNITY? According to the instructions God gave to Moses in Exodus chapters 10-12 many have been celebrating the Feasts of the Lord twice since 1999. Click Here to know why many have been celebrating the feast twice since 1999. All should be TOGETHER This Year.

Repentance and calling out to the Lord are necessary all year. However, during the Days of Awe, the Ten Days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, it is more important because it is so written in the Word of God. The FEASTS are FEASTS of The Lord. "Seek The Lord while He may yet be found." When it is written in the Word of God that we are to be MOST diligently seeking Him? During the 10 Days of Awe, those who are wise, and show their love of the Lord by their obedience to His Word, will do as He commanded regarding His FEASTS.

Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

Lev 23:37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations,

Lev 23:44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD.

2 Chr 2:4 Behold, .... on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel.

Ezra 3:5 ..., and of all the set feasts of the LORD that were consecrated,

During these days, we are instructed to be more diligent than usual, as we ask The Lord to deal with us with special kindness. It is a time to afflict our soul. It is a time to look at our OWN heart.

Jer 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Jesus Christ, Yeshua Messiah, died for SINNERS. IF, IF, IF we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.

Here are the FEASTS of the LORD as given to Moses, and celebrated, and confirmed by Messiah Yeshua. The spring feasts point to Messiah's first coming as Messiah Ben Joseph, the suffering servant, sin bearer. The fall feasts point to Messiah's second coming as Messiah Ben David, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

1*.) The Lord's Passover. (Messiah is our Passover 1 Cor 5:7 & Isaiah 53)

2.) Unleavened bread. If we have been saved by Messiah, our Passover, Yeshua Messiah, then we should remove the puffing up, or vanity leaven, and get the sin out of our lives and walk in true humility with our God.

3.) First Fruits. "... Who brings forth Bread from the earth. Messiah, the Bread of Life, was Resurrected, the First fruit of those who will be brought forth from the grave of the earth to eternal life.

4*.) Shavot or Pentecost, Feast of Weeks, celebrating the giving of the Royal Law of God, the 10 Commandments, are 10 instructions about real true love. AND the celebration of the GIVING, by Messiah's finished work as the Lamb of God, The Spirit of Holiness, empowering us to KEEP and DO God's Royal Law from the new circumcised heart guided by the Spirit of Holiness and Truth.

5.) Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, the ONLY feast that no man knows the Day or Hour thereof. It is a 2 day celebration because no man knows the day or hour of the Feast of Trumpets. It is about the glorious second coming of Yeshua Messiah as the King of Kings. It is an alarm calling us to REPENT or PERISH.

6.) Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur. This is the day when we remember that our sins were covered by the Blood of the Lamb of God. Remembering that the Blood of Yeshua is the price of our redemption, and the only acceptable Kippur or Covering for our sins.

7*.) Tabernacles, or Sukkot. We tabernacle with the Lord. After we have found repentance and covering, and atonement for our sin, we go camping with the Lord and marvel sleeping under the stars that He created, that the Awesome Creator has become our King, Savior, Redeemer and Friend. Alleluia!

* Required Feasts. If one was a DEVOUT man, he would go up to Jerusalem for these 3 required feasts. Yeshua risked His life at the hands of the religious leaders in Jerusalem to go up to Jerusalem for these required feasts. The religious leaders sought to kill Him, before it was time for Him to offer Himself as the Once For ALL Perfect Spotless Passover Lamb of God.

Yeshua was faithful to observe and celebrate these feasts of the Lord which ALL pointed to Himself. He gave us the example that we as His followers should observe and celebrate His feasts. We observe the Feasts of the Lord and have stopped learning the ways of the pagans and heathens to celebrate the feasts of Eastarte and the X-mass winter solstice celebration of the Babylonian sun god and queen of heaven. (See Jeremiah 10th Chapter) Yeshua, Jesus, observe these Feasts of the Lord, as an example that we should follow Him. Let us be diligent to Follow our Lord and Savior's example in observing the feasts as we are instructed.

Since 1999, the drought has been so severe in Israel, that there are many who celebrated all the feasts twice since 1999. The no rain judgment of Rev 11:6a is now HISTORY. The first month according to God's instructions to Moses, would begin on the new moon when the barley was Abib. The drought has been so severe since 1999, that the barley being Abib, until last year, has been a month later than the Rabbis have said. THIS YEAR, SINCE LAST FEAST OF TRUMPETS, ISRAEL HAS SEEN THE MOST ABUNDANT RAINS EVER.

The moon cycle is 29.5 days. This Year the Feast of Trumpets, according to the rabbis, AND the the word of the Lord given to Moses is Sept 27-28, 2003.

Why 2 days? Because NO MAN KNOWS THE DAY OR THE HOUR OF THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS.

NO MAN KNOWS THE DAY OR THE HOUR?

Christians over the centuries have separated themselves from their Hebraic roots causing the misunderstanding of key Jewish biblical idioms. An idiom is figure of speech, an expression of a given language that is peculiar to itself grammatically. Idioms are figures of speech that cannot be understood from the individual meanings of its elements. Yeshua (Jesus) spoke those words concerning the Messianic Era in Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. He used a common Jewish figure of speech referring to a specific Feast of the Lord. In essence He was saying, "I am coming on Feast of Trumpets! Be watching!" That is the day to which the Jewish idiom would be referring.

Yeshua the Messiah, (Jesus The Christ) was Jewish, and lived a Torah-observant Jewish life. He communicated to His disciples in the Hebrew language, in Hebraic ways. What does it mean to communicate in Hebraic ways? It means to think and talk like a Jew.

Who or what is a Jew. The apostle Paul gives the best definition in Romans 2:28-29

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

BE A GOD PLEASER - not a Self Pleaser, Man pleaser, or Church pleaser.

A true Jew is a spiritual thing. If you seek to please man, the pastor, the husband, the wife, or YOURSELF, then you are not a Jew. If you seek to PLEASE GOD regardless what anyone else thinks, then you are a Jew.

In Yeshua's day it meant to speak in the language and idioms of the day. Those who heard the Lord speak knew what He was saying and usually what He was alluding to, unless He was speaking in parables. Today's generation of believers struggles to understand His words and concepts. Speaking, like a Jewish Rabbi helped His mission in bringing the gospel message to "the lost sheep of the house of Israel" (Matt 15:24).

In Luke 23:31, Yeshua said: For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?
In this verse Yeshua points His audience, who had portions of the writings of the Prophets memorized. When Yeshua said green tree and what shall be done in the dry - the minds of the people clicked to Ezekiel 20:45 to 21:7.

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop thy word toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field; And say to the forest of the south, Hear the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will kindle a fire in thee, and it shall devour every green tree in thee, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned therein. And all flesh shall see that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched.
Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! they say of me, Doth he not speak parables?
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel, And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more. Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes. And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.

Without question, Yeshua's hearers knew He referred to the time of Jacob's Trouble in the Great Tribulation. He warned His audience. But the death of Christ was his victory and triumph over his enemies. His death on a Roman cross was our deliverance, the purchase of eternal life for us. Therefore weep not for Him. BUT let us weep for our own sins, and the sins of our children, which caused His death. Weep for fear of the miseries we shall bring upon ourselves, if we slight His love, and reject His grace to find repentance. If God delivered Him up to such sufferings as these, because He was made a sacrifice for sin, what will He do with sinners themselves?

Unrepentant sinners themselves a dry tree, are good for nothing! The bitter sufferings of our Lord Jesus should make us stand in awe of the justice of God.

The best saints, compared with Christ, are dry trees; if He suffered, why do we not expect to suffer? And what then shall the damnation of sinners be! The sufferings of Christ should shout terror to obstinate transgressors, and those who do DISRESPECT TO HIS ROYAL LAW. (Rom 3:31 Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.)

God through the Messiah Yeshua spoke to the Jews in many portions and in many ways (Hebrews 1:1-2). Yeshua relied upon and used known figures of speech, common expressions, and direct thoughts from the Torah and Prophets. Every phrase and word from the mouth of the Lord meant something to His audience. He spoke with precision.

The "No man knows the day or hour" is one of the most interesting Jewish figures of speech. This figure of speech, or idiom, has been misunderstood by the Church over the years. In context, He refers to His second coming in triumph and, the beginning of the Messianic era and His millennial reign as King of kings over all the earth.

ROSH HASHANAH

The Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah is the first day of the seventh month (Tishri).

Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.

Themes linked to THIS Feast of the Lord are repentance, resurrection, kingship, coronation and a marriage feast. Rosh Hashanah is not only the start of "The Day of the Lord" (Millennium), but is also the day of the resurrection! It has to do with the moon and its 29-½-day cycle of renewal.

In this period of slightly less than 30 days, the moon goes from darkness to light and back to darkness again. This is not a haphazard occurrence attributed to evolution or science. God planned it for many reasons, one being as a picture of resurrection and renewal. With each cycle of nearly 30 days the ancient rabbis understood that the moon was being reborn or "born again."

NEW MOONS

In Yeshua's day, the moon was so important that a Jewish festival was proclaimed at the beginning of every month. This was called the New Moon Festival and in the apostle Paul makes note of it (Colossians 2:16). King David provoked King Saul over it (1Samuel 20:5). In the millennium all nations will celebrate the New Moon festival every month Isaiah 66:23. It is obvious from the Scriptures that in the millennium God has no plans to do away with His system.

Since it is so important, exactly what is a new moon? It is the opposite of a full moon. Every month the moon goes through a complete cycle of renewal called Rosh Chodesh, the head or beginning of the renewed month. Twelve times a year on Rosh Chodesh, the moon always starts off with its disk being very dark to the naked eye. Over the course of 15 days it gets brighter and brighter until it finally reaches a full white-faced disk or full moon. Over the next 15 days it becomes darker and darker and finally becomes invisible to the naked eye again.

The ancient rabbis saw a great lesson in this. Just as the moon has no light of its own but receives its light from the sun, so we too have no light of our own and must receive it from God. As the moon goes through a near 30-day cycle of dark to light to dark, so we need constant spiritual renewal and repentance. Like the moon, we too must be reborn or "born again" into the Messiah and constantly renewed through REPENTANCE. This is why God called the moon a faithful witness in the sky Psalm 89:37. We have lost touch with God's faithful witness in the sky. But Yeshua, and the people of His day never lost touch with it. The new moon was necessary for the Jewish calendar, and it was also a monthly festival celebrated with a feast fit for a king!

So, when Yeshua said His famous words Matthew 24:36, it had far-reaching implications. Here are the words of Yeshua in Matt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Taking phrases out of Jewish context can lead one to misunderstand His words. For example, in many places of the New Testament. Yeshua knew the future and talked about it openly. In one instance He warned His disciples about their future saying, "See, I have told you ahead of time" Matthew 24:25. His context concerned the tribulation, the destruction of the Temple, the rise and fall of false messiahs (antichrists), etc. If He knew the future in Matt 24:25, and the context is about the Day of Trouble. Why would He suddenly speak as though He did not know the future in the same context just 11 verses later in Matt 24:36? Was He confused? Or was He making perfect sense in light of the customs of the Jews? The phrase, "Of that day and hour no man knows" refers to the sanctification or setting apart of the new moon.

Twelve times a year a new Jewish month (Rosh Chodesh) was announced to the people. We have no system like it today. We look at a calendar to determine the first of the month; the Jews, however, looked at the moon. This system of time keeping was given to the Jews to know precisely when the Holy Feasts of the Lord would fall. The moon was the faithful Jewish calendar or witness in the sky. And 12 times a year was sanctified as the basis of the Jewish calendar.

To correctly announce the first day of the month, established by the new moon, was one of the Sanhedrin's greatest responsibilities. They had to ensure the people knew when the first of the month began 12 times a year! Therefore God said to the leaders of Israel:

Leviticus 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.

As soon as the new moon was announced, the first day of the month began. In Hebrew, those observances have always been called "appointed times" or moedim, literally "a sacred and set time". From God's perspective, the appointed times belong to Him and no one has the authority to change the celebration of an appointed time. To do so was a serious matter and great sin. Appointed times had to be kept because of their Messianic implications.

Also notice the phrase, "holy convocation". God's appointed times are actually "holy rehearsals" set apart to reflect events in the Messianic era. God said to the people, "Pay attention! On this day I am going to do something! Wake-up! The Jews were to know and practice all of God's holy convocations. This is the essence of Paul's words that the Shabbat, new moons and festivals, "are a shadow of things to come to the body of Messiah" (Colossians 2:17).

Twice a year, in the spring and fall, there were several appointed times and specific days of holy convocation dedicated to the Lord. The new moon was the key in being able to fulfill those set times, holy convocations and rehearsals. For example, when the new moon was announced on the first day of Nisan, also called Aviv, or Abib, the people knew when to observe the holy convocations and set times.

Again, once the Sanhedrin set Rosh Chodesh, or the beginning of the new month by sighting the new moon, the rest of the festivals were calculated. However because of the 29.5 day cycle, and a 365.25 day year some years would need a 13th month. Determining the new moon in the FIRST month of Abib or Nissan was the most important for that determination set the appointed times or Feast of the Lord for the whole year. That first month called Nissan was also called Abib. When the BARLEY WAS ABIB. When the barley would be abib means that it has grain heads at the time of the new moon in Jerusalem. This can also be effected by a lack of sufficient rain. With no rain the barley seeds would not germinate. The barley would not be seen abib if there was no rain. Then, all the feasts of the Lord would be postponed by a month in that year.

The seventh month, Tishri, was particularly important because it was the only month that had a holy convocation or appointed time on the first day of the month. This posed a unique problem. The first day of Tishri was the appointed time called Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:24). Yet no one could begin observing the festival until they heard those famous words from the President of the Sanhedrin, "Sanctified!" No one in Israel could plan for the first day of the seventh month Tishri, called Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets (also called Rosh Hashanah). When they knew how many days to count to a festival, that would be easy.

But: HOW COULD THEY PLAN FOR A FESTIVAL THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW AT WHAT DAY OR HOUR IT WOULD PUBLICLY BE ANNOUNCED AND THUS BEGIN?

That is why, to this day, the Feast of Trumpets is a 2 day feast of the Lord.

This was unique to Rosh Hashanah and dependent upon the testimony of the two witnesses. Prophetically, we are informed of two important witnesses during the Great Tribulation: Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto My Two Witnesses, and they will prophesy 1260 days, clothed in sackcloth.

Of course, anyone could look up into the twilight or early morning sky and, if they looked hard enough, see the new moon or at least its "horns". And certainly a good observer knew when about 29-½ days were completed since the previous Rosh Chodesh. Once proclaimed, the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) commenced. Until that public announcement, everyone had to wait before they could begin the observance of the festival. No one could begin the festival beforehand! Thus, we can more clearly see the analogy Jesus made with His words:

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only" was in regard to this important festival of the Feast of Trumpets. Jesus told the apostles as clearly as possible that His Second coming and end of the age of grace and testing of mankind as we know it, was what the Feast of Trumpets is all about. The Feast of Trumpets calls us to seek the Lord while HE MAY YET BE FOUND!

Feast of Trumpets, Modern Rosh Hashanah, is the sounding of the trumpets on the first day of the seventh month (Tishri) of the religious calendar year (Lev. 23:24; Num. 29:1). The trumpet referred to here was the shofar, a ram's horn. It was distinctive from the silver trumpets blown on the other new moons. Silver trumpets were sounded at the daily burnt offering and at the beginning of each new month (Num. 10:10), but the shofar specifically was blown on the beginning of the month Tishri.

This day evolved into the second most holy day on the modern Jewish religious calendar. It begins the "ten days of awe" before the day of atonement. According to Lev. 23:24-27 the celebration consisted of the blowing of trumpets, a time of rest, and "an offering made by fire."

HOW TO KEEP THE APPOINTED FEAST OF TRUMPETS

The scriptural recommended way of observing this feast is the way Ezra lead the people of God. The book of the Law, the book of Deuteronomy, should be read September 18-19. You will be blessed if you read the entire book of Deuteronomy on the Feast of Trumpets. Seek the Lord for the gift of grace, the gift of repentance at this time. Seek the Lord while HE MAY YET BE FOUND!

The Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur came on the tenth day of the seventh month (Tishri-Sept./Oct.) and the fifth day before the feast of tabernacles (Lev. 16:1-34; Num. 29:7-11). According to Leviticus 23:27-28, four main elements comprise this most significant feast. First, it was to be a "holy convocation," drawing the focus of the people to the altar of divine mercy. The holy One of Israel called the people of Israel to gather in His presence and give their undivided attention to Him. Secondly, they were to "humble their souls" ("afflict your souls," Lev. 23:27). This was explained by later tradition to indicate fasting and repentance. Israel understood that this was a day for mourning over their sins. The seriousness of this requirement is reiterated in Leviticus 23:29, "For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people." Thirdly, offerings are central to the day of atonement. The Bible devotes an entire chapter (Lev. 16) to them. They are also listed in Numbers 29:7-11. In addition to these, when the day fell on a Sabbath, the regular Sabbath offerings were offered. The fourth and final element of the day involved the prohibition of labor. The day of atonement was a "Sabbath of rest" (Lev. 23:32), and the Israelites were forbidden to do any work at all. If they disobeyed, they were liable to capital punishment (Lev. 23:30).

The center point of this feast involved the high priest entering the holy of holies. Before entering, the high priest first bathed his entire body, going beyond the mere washing of hands and feet as required for other occasions. This washing symbolized his desire for purification. Rather than donning his usual robe and colorful garments (described in Ex. 28 and Lev. 8), he was commanded to wear special garments of linen. Also, the high priest sacrificed a bullock as a sin offering for himself and for his house (Lev. 16:6). After filling his censer with live coals from the altar, he entered the holy of holies where he placed incense on the coals. Then he took some of the blood from the slain bullock and sprinkled it on the mercy seat ("atonement cover,") and also on the ground in front of the ark, providing atonement for the priesthood (Lev. 16:14-15). Next he sacrificed a male goat as a sin offering for the people. Some of this blood was then also taken into the holy of holies and sprinkled there on behalf of the people (Lev. 16:11-15). Then he took another goat, called the "scapegoat" (for "escape goat"), laid his hands on its head, confessed over it the sins of Israel, and then released it into the desert where it symbolically carried away the sins of the people (Lev. 16:8,10). The remains of the sacrificial bullock and male goat were taken outside the city and burned, and the day was concluded with additional sacrifices.

According to Hebrews chapters 8, 9, &10, this ritual is a symbol of the atoning work of Christ, our great high Priest. He did not need to make any sacrifice for Himself but shed His own blood for our sins. As the high priest of the Old Testament entered the holy of holies with the blood of sacrificial animals, Jesus entered heaven itself to appear on our behalf in front of the Father (Heb. 9:11,12). Each year the high priest repeated his sin offerings for his own sin and the sins of the people, giving an annual reminder that perfect and permanent atonement had not yet been made. But Jesus, through His own blood, accomplished eternal redemption for His people (Heb. 9:12). Just as the sacrifice of the day of atonement was burned outside the camp of Israel, Jesus suffered outside the gate of Jerusalem so that He might redeem His people from sin (Heb. 13:11,12).

The modern Jewish day of atonement (Yom Kippur) is devoid of blood sacrifice but does include a ten-day period (called "days of awe") of penitence, prayer, and fasting in preparation for the most solemn day on the Jewish religious calendar. The feast of Rosh Hashanah (the head of the year) initiates this ten-day period.

Let us try to UNDERSTAND the term

"Feast of the Jews" found in the New Testament

One of the most sad and grievous things in the realm of religion, is how that some people have so perverted, and twisted, and wrested the scriptures, so as to justify Jew hatred and anti-Semitism. These sad, sorry, deceived, and deluded people are champions of Satan the devil. They compound their iniquity by doing their work for the devil, in the name of Jesus Christ. The bible says they are going to be cursed by God.

Christians should not hate anyone and ESPECIALLY not the Jews. In the New Testament, over 20 times we are told that Yeshua, Jesus, is the King of the Jews. Yet these people do not want to obey THE KING. They will say they have somehow replaced Israel. They will say that they are the true Jews. Nothing could be further from the truth. Yet they use the name of Jesus to justify their devilish hatred of Jews. Indeed there are those who say they are Jews, and are not. But it is much more sure that these Jew haters who call themselves Christians, are NOT Christians. Some estimate that perhaps only 2% of those who call themselves Christians really are, in this crocked generation which is on a collision course with the Judgment of God Almighty.

These hate groups, often called Identity groups, by their perversion and wresting of the scriptures, serve the devil in the name of Jesus Christ. God has said He will bless those who bless the Jews and curse those who curse them. Somehow the devil has so twisted these racial identity groups to hate the people that God said we are to bless. Unless they repent, people like Pete Peters are most certainly going to go to hell. Racism and anti-Semitism is a work of iniquity. Heaven will be full of redeemed sinners, and there will be NO WORKERS of INIQUITY. Mat 7:22-23 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work INIQUITY. The identity racial hatred groups will be CURSED BY GOD.

The truth is that Yeshua, Jesus IS King of the Jews. Therefore, if you claim to love Jesus, you MUST love and identify with the Jewish people. Yes, we MUST love the Jews, the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, or else we will stand the very real possibility of being CURSED by the God of Abraham.

Here is the best definition of a Jew ever written:
Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

BE A GOD PLEASER - that is how this definition from the word of God defines a Jew. Can you identify with that? Are you a God Pleaser? We should IDENTIFY with that. Let us stand with, and be complimented to be called Jews, and Jew lovers. To be a real genuine Christian you can be no other way.

Now what about the Jews delivering Jesus to be crucified. They were the designated priests of God. They had to be the ones to sacrifice the Lamb of God. What a big mistake the devil made when he got the Jewish High Priest to sacrifice the Lamb of God. 1 Cor 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

These are My Feasts saith the Lord. God does NOT change. How come the New Testament makes reference to Feasts of the Jews? The word Jews is found 175 times in the New Testament and 65 times in John's Gospel. John is the only one who makes this reference to "Feast of the Jews." He is not at all saying The Feasts of the Lord are Feasts of the Jews as some people like to think. God does NOT Change. These are MY feasts Saith the Lord. They are Feasts of the Lord, and soon we will see that John confirms and affirms that truth.

John's gospel is most often used by the apostate "identity" hate groups. The perverse "Identity" groups use John's gospel to make negative, misleading and false statements, to induce hatred of the Jews. They will say things such as "the Jews did persecute Jesus." "The Jews sought to kill Him." "The Jews spoke against Him." "The Jews did not believe Him." "The Jews took up stones to stone Him." "The Jews put pressure on Pilot to kill Him." All of these statements may be wrested from John's gospel and demonstrates a willing ignorance in wresting the scripture, and NOT rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

The anti-Semitic atrocities committed in the name of the church of Jesus Christ through the last sixteen hundred years, which claimed New Testament justification, requires repentance, and not continued perverse wresting of the scriptures. It helps nothing to assume such long history of perverse action justifies the atrocities in any way. Rightly dividing the Word of truth should have stopped such atrocities from the beginning. But the historical Jew hatred, especially from the Roman Catholic Church, is one long gross sad history of iniquity.

Anyone who would rightly divide the word of truth, would show that Yeshua and the New Testament, strongly condemn anti-Semitism. Any form of ethnic or racial hatred, is condemned as a work of iniquity. To say that "the Jews," as used in John's gospel, meant that the whole nation was against Him, is ridiculous. That would be about the same as saying the "white people" in America opposed Abraham Lincoln, and had him killed. It does not take rocket scientist mentality to recognize that it was a small religious group which opposed Jesus.

Do you consider Jesus your KING? The Bible says 22 times in the New Testament that Jesus is the King of the Jews. Does that make you want to be a Jew so that Jesus, who is the King of the Jews, will be your King? Indeed this is the meaning which Paul gives us that Jesus, Yeshua, is King of the God Pleasers. Do you identify with this? Do you desire Jesus as your King? BE a God Pleaser, not a self pleaser, or a man pleaser. You can not claim to be a Christian and hate Jews. That is an oxymoron.

Every time, all 66 times, John uses the word Jews in his gospel, he uses the Greek word IOUDAIOS - G2453. The best definition of IOUDAIOS, would be that small religious group of rulers of Judea. IOUDAIOS would distinguish Judean Jews, especially in the Temple Religious Complex, FROM ALL OTHER Jews, such as Galilean Jews, or Jews of the Diaspora. It most CERTAINLY WOULD NOT REPRESENT THE ENTIRE JEWISH RACE or nation. To say or believe that ALL the Jews hated and wanted to kill Jesus - Makes as much sense as to say ALL the white people in America hated and wanted to kill Abraham Lincoln. It must also be remembered that it was necessary for the designated High Priest to offer the sacrifice which would sprinkle the BLOOD of the SIN offering on the Mercy Seat. 1 Cor 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Now we come to the term that John uses "Feast of the Jews." Here again we see the FACT that John's Gospel use of Jews INVARIABLY represents that very small sub group of Jewish religious rulers IN JERUSALEM. There were 3 feasts ,of the 7 FEASTS of THE LORD, wherein Jewish men were required to go up to Jerusalem, specifically to the temple mount. That is what makes a Jew to be a DEVOUT man as in Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Devout men were the men who would come in from the Diaspora, (all over the world), to go up to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem for the 3 required FEASTS of THE LORD. The 3 required FEASTS of THE LORD are Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles. That is PRECISELY the usage, and exactly what John is doing, when he uses the term Feast of the Jews. John is designating that the feast was one of the FEASTS of THE LORD, where the men were required to go up to the Temple Complex in Jerusalem. The use of the word Jews in John's Gospel, almost always refers to that small group in the religious complex at the Temple, or to those directly under their control or influence. In no case other than the exception of being King of the Jews would it refer to a race or nation, physical, or spiritual.

Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

The FEASTS are FEASTS of THE LORD. John's usage of the term "Feast of the Jews" was specifically used to designate a feast in which devout men would go up to the Temple in Jerusalem, either the Passover FEAST of THE LORD, Pentecost FEAST of THE LORD, or Tabernacles FEAST of THE LORD, was specifically designated by John using the "Feast of the Jews" term. For men had to go to the Temple Complex in Jerusalem for those specific feasts of the Lord, in order to be devout men.

It is important for us to understand this. We should be ready to stand against the perverters of scripture who misuse the term Jew in the gospels and wrest and pervert it to justify the iniquity of racism in general, and anti-Semitism in particular.

It was the BURDEN OF THE LORD for the designated High Priest to sacrifice the ONCE for ALL SIN offering of the Lamb of God. 1 Cor 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Yeshua Messiah was crucified because of MY Sins. Jesus Christ was crucified because of your sins. That is the understanding we must have - That Jesus Christ who IS Come in the Flesh, was sacrifice on that Cross of Calvary for my sins. I am justified by the Faith in that perfect sacrifice of the Lamb of God for my sins. That does not give me a license to sin. By the power of His Holy Spirit it gives me the power to STOP SINNING. That is the real Christian faith which establishes the LAW. Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
